Lady GaGa is currently away in Rome, prepping for her role as Patrizia Reggiani, in the upcoming film, “Gucci” — a crime-themed Biopic, about the life of Reggiani’s marriage to Maurizio Gucci, and the alleged role that she played in Maurizio’s murder.
While Lady GaGa was away, she left her dogs with the same dog walker that she’s entrusted for years: Ryan Fischer. Fischer has been dog-walking for GaGa, since 2011, and according to his hair stylist (Steven Lazaroff), Fischer even moved across the country, to be closer to the pups.
Unfortunately, on Thursday, February 25th, TMZ announced that Fischer had been shot multiple times by two men in a white car. The incident occurred on Wednesday night, in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles. After shooting Fischer in the chest, the two men abducted ⅔ of Lady GaGa’s bulldogs: Gustav and Koji. They then left Fischer lying on the street and drove off.
Asia (Lady GaGa’s third French bulldog) managed to escape the dognappers, and in a graphic video released by TMZ last night, Asia can be seen running to Fischer’s aid. Nearby neighbors rushed to the scene and immediately called 911.
In the video, Fischer is heard crying for help, and begging these strangers to bring Asia back home safely. He then informed them that the two dogs that were abducted belonged to GaGa, herself.
Fischer was taken into the hospital in critical condition, but fortunately, he’s expected to make a full recovery.
Lazaroff told The Sun that, “Ryan’s a very spiritual person and I’m not surprised that he would literally be willing to take a bullet for those dogs.”
Last night, Lady GaGa broke her silence on the incident, tweeting the following:
Earlier today, Fischer’s family provided an update to TMZ — regarding Ryan’s condition:
“Ryan is receiving extraordinary care in the hospital right now and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery. We cannot possibly say enough to thank all of the first responders, nurses and doctors who have worked so tirelessly to care for Ryan.”
A close, personal friend of Fischer’s also spoke out, to update the public. Earlier today, Dr. Fred Pescatore revealed that Ryan had texted him about finally being able to breathe on his own.
We wish Ryan a safe and speedy recovery, and we hope that Koji and Gustav will be safely returned to GaGa, ASAP!
Once again, if you have any information, regarding the dogs, please e-mail: KojiandGustav@gmail.com.
Week 8 of “The Bachelor” consisted of the most anxiety-driven part of the show (other than the rose ceremony): Hometowns. That’s right. Matt James was finally going to meet Michelle, Rachael, Serena P. and Bri’s families.
As expected, there was a lot of nervousness and excitement, but the beginning portion of each hometown date seemed to calm everyone down.
First up was Michelle. Michelle led Matt into an auditorium — where she surprised him with a bunch of her students, via Zoom. One by one, the children began to interrogate Matt, with questions about “Miss Young”. Absolutely adorable!
One student asked Matt what Michelle had taught him, and his response was that she taught him how to be “open minded”. After that, the questions became more intense — with some students asking if they were planning on having kids together, and if Matt was going to choose Michelle as his wife.
Before they knew it, they were about to walk into the house, to meet Michelle’s parents. Michelle’s parents were absolute angels. Her parents were protective over her, but for all of the right reasons. They welcomed Matt with open arms, but they also interviewed him about his intentions with their daughter.
Michelle got emotional, when talking to her father about her past. Mr. Young honestly seems like the type of man that would help anyone in need, with absolutely no hesitation. Mrs. Young reminded me of a “Mother Theresa” type: very loving, very understanding, and always protecting the people that she cares about.
They ended their night with a game of family basketball, and Michelle admitted that she was falling in love with Matt.
The next day was Rachael’s hometown date. The day started off pretty intense. Rachael surprised Matt with a skydiving adventure. It was quite the adrenaline-filled experience. Matt had a smooth landing, while Rachael hit the ground pretty hard. She had a crash landing — which prompted Matt to rush by her side.
According to Rachael, she said that although it was initially a scary experience, she felt so much better, once Matt began to pour his heart out to her. The two then stood up and got ready to meet Rachael’s family.
Prior to the introduction, Darrell Kirkconnell (Rachael’s father) expressed to his wife that if Matt were to propose to Rachael, it would be too soon. Upon meeting Matt, her family was very kind hearted.
However, after pulling them aside individually, it was apparent that there was visible apprehension from her parents. Rachael’s mom asked about any ‘red flags’, and then continued to try and ask for any negative qualities about Matt. Of course, Rachael said that there haven’t been any bad days, or any negative reactions from Matt. She then admitted that if Matt proposed to her the following day, she would accept in a heartbeat.
As for Rachael’s father, he was very blunt with Matt about his thoughts on the process of “The Bachelor”. He said that he doesn’t believe that someone could get married so quickly — especially when there’s other women involved in the process.
Darrell told Rachael that although he’s skeptical of this situation, regardless of what happens, he’ll still be there to support her through it all.
Two more hometown dates left, and the next day was Bri’s turn. It was a fun-filled day that consisted of off-roading and a beautiful picnic. They had an intimate conversation about their “unconventional families”, and they provided reassurance for one another.
Matt met Bri’s mother, best friend, and baby sister. Since Bri’s mother has had to play the role of both mother and father, she made sure to interrogate Matt on everything important. Although Matt wasn’t able to provide direct answers to some of her questions, he tried to reassure her as best as he could.
Viewers could tell that Bri’s mother was very protective, but also very motherly. The amount of love and compassion that she has for her daughter radiated through all of our television screens.
Last up on the “hometowns” list was Serena P. Since she’s Canadian, she planned their date around her home country. She led Matt into a room — decorated in Canadian flags, backgrounds, and a map of Canada.
They played “Canadian speed trivia”, and Matt lost by a landslide. Then, Serena P. enlightened Matt’s taste buds, by introducing him to Canadian’s most infamous delicacies (Poutine, Peameal Bacon, Beaver Tails, and Nanaimo Bars). They finished off their romantic date with a competitive game of Canadian hockey.
Serena’s sister (Talia), mother, and father showed up to meet Matt, and this is where things take a turn. Although her family was so kind-hearted and welcoming, they were honest about what they saw, and how they felt.
Talia admitted that although she was happy for her sister, she felt as though Serena was too into her own head, and that she wasn’t able to think clearly. She was at the “high” of her relationship, and that the reality hadn’t sunken in yet.
After speaking to her father about it, Serena went from being “certain about her relationship with Matt” to “unsure and doubtful”.
They ended the night on good terms, but Serena was left feeling more confused than ever.
The night of the rose ceremony, Matt went to visit Serena P. They talked about their feelings, and Serena confessed to Matt that he “wasn’t her person”. Awkward.
Matt was very upset, upon hearing this (understandably). Serena walked Matt out, they said their final goodbyes, and Matt headed to the rose ceremony.
Since Serena left before the rose ceremony, this was the first rose ceremony where the remaining women received roses.
Next Monday are all about the “fantasy suites” and the WTA, so stay tuned for that one!
Just when we thought “The Bachelor” drama was over, ABC chooses to surprise us, yet again. Anna, Victoria & MJ are gone, but that doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be other bullies during this season.
Pieper was previously interrupted during her conversation with Matt, when Heather walked in. Everyone was flabbergasted— including Matt, himself. The two shared a brief conversation, while Pieper stepped out.
When Heather approached the women, they weren’t happy. Jessenia and Serena C. were quick to throw unfiltered jabs at Heather — playing the roles of Anna and MJ for this episode.
Pieper was upset and asked for an apology — to which Heather provided one. Matt then pulled Heather aside to finish their conversation, and Heather was sent home. Just to recap, Heather was a former contestant on Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor”, and she’s also good friends with former bachelorette, Hannah Brown. Brown spoke highly of Heather to Matt — since they’re also close friends.
The remaining women were pleased that Heather left, Matt apologized for the interruption, and they headed to the rose ceremony.
Chelsea and Serena C. were eliminated (one less bully to stir up drama).
The next morning was the first one-on-one date of the week. Although neither Abigail, nor Jessenia has gotten a one-on-one date, Serena P. was chosen for her second one-on-one.
Their date started off with started tantric yoga and both did impressive poses. Although Matt was very into it, Serena P. felt a bit uncomfortable. She openly admitted that she’s not big on PDA, and later on, when she admitted that to Matt, he reciprocated it well. He made her feel very comfortable, but behind the scenes, he revealed that the two might be on “different wavelengths”.
Back at the villa, the group date card was announced. Jessenia received the second one-on-one date of the week.
During the dinner portion of their date, Matt thanked Serena P. for being so open and honest about the tantric yoga. She received a rose, and next week, Matt will be meeting her family during hometowns.
The next night was the cocktail party. Abigail and Bri opened up to Matt a lot that night. Bri admitted that she was forced to resign from her dream job, to be with Matt. Matt appreciated that and they shared a passionate kiss.
Abigail, however, poured her heart out and asked Matt the honest truth: does he see himself ending up with her in the end?
Although difficult for him to answer, Matt admitted that his relationship with some of the other women have progressed more than his relationship with Abigail. She was eliminated.
Rachael was up next, and her conversation with Matt was so organic. He gushed over Rachael, and she received the group date rose.
Although the other women were heartbroken, Kit felt the most betrayed. She had just opened up to Matt with complete transparency about who she’s looking for, and the timeline she planned for her life. She felt so great about that conversation, but apparently, Matt didn’t feel great enough to hand her the rose.
Matt left the cocktail party with Rachael, and they slow danced to a private concert.
Before the night was over, Kit surprised Matt at his house. She opened up about not being able to go through with this process. Kit self-eliminated.
The next morning was Jessenia’s one-on-one date with Matt, and it was full of risks. They learned how to drift and drive a race car through an obstacle course. It looked like a lot of fun, but Matt looked a bit car sick at one point. They both matched each other’s energies, in a sense that they’re both adventurous and spontaneous.
They then parted ways until the dinner portion. Their dinner took place in a beautiful room, filled with LED lights, white walls, and fake trees. Jessenia admitted that she’s falling in love with Matt, but unfortunately, he didn’t reciprocate those feelings. Jessenia was eliminated.
Chris Harrison has been the host of “The Bachelor” franchise, since it first premiered, in 2002.
Since then, Harrison has gone on to appear on talk shows, write his own books, and meet his girlfriend — Roses & Rosè host, Lauren Zima.
Harrison is a beloved member of the franchise — due to his charm, and his ability to break the tension during rose ceremonies. He introduces the rose ceremony, and ends the ceremony with his infamous line, “Ladies/Gentlemen, I’m sorry. If you did not receive a rose, take a moment, and say your goodbyes”.
Although Harrison has been widely praised by Bachelor Nation fans throughout the years, he’s recently found himself in some hot water.
During an interview with Rachel Lindsay, on February 9th, Harrison got candid about his feelings towards Rachael Kirkconnell.
There’s been a lot of rumors that Kirkconnell will end up being Matt’s final choice, and with that, comes a lot of “digging”. Bachelor Nations fans dug up some serious dirt on the contestant: one of which, being of a particular antebellum party photo.
Kirkconnell had attended a fraternity party with her friends in 2018, at the antebellum plantation in Georgia. Formerly known as the “antebellum party”, an “old south party” is typically associated with white wealth and slavery.
The photos of Kirkconnell were first released over a month ago, but resurfaced once again, after TikTok user, @feministmama, uploaded a video on January 26th.
In the video, she goes into detail about what Kirkconnell did, how she should be held accountable, etc. The video has amassed almost 3 million views, and Kirkconnell has since taken accountability on her Instagram.
Back to the interview, Harrison continued defending Kirkconnell’s past photos. He spoke a lot about “woke” culture, and admitted that social media users aren’t reasonable.
When asked if he thought Kirkconnell would speak out, Harrison responded with, “She can’t please everyone”.
Lindsay ended the discussion, by asking Harrison whether or not “The Bachelor” franchise would be publicly speaking on this issue. Harrison stated the following:
“We are not in the business of dealing with every problem that you have. That’s not how this works. We don’t have the time of day to handle everything that people come up with on social media”.
Shortly after the interview was released, Harrison’s Instagram comments were flooded with backlash. The BN fandom wasn’t too fond of the way Harrison presented himself, during this interview.
So, the day after the interview was released, Harrison posted the following statement to Instagram — where he apologized for his demeanor, and asked for forgiveness from the Bachelor Nation fans:
Then, two days later, Harrison posted a follow-up statement — in which he revealed that he would be temporarily stepping down as host of “The Bachelor”. He will not be present during the ‘After the Finale Rose’ episode.
The announcement has garnered mixed reactions from fans, but Harrison has assured Bachelor Nation that he’s devoted to becoming more educated.
Earlier this week, Good Morning America announced that Taylor would be coming onto the show, to make a surprise announcement.
Immediately, fellow Swifties were freaking out. Some theorized that she would be releasing the re-recording of “Love Story” on Valentine’s Day. However, the Swifties were in for a real treat, when this morning, Taylor popped onto Good Morning America, to deliver the following message:
“Good morning, America. It’s Taylor. I’m so excited to share with you that tonight at midnight, I’ll be putting out my version of Love Story”.
So, wait… TWO DAYS EARLIER THAN ANTICIPATED? Whew. Someone hold my iced coffee, because this is too much to handle.
As if that wasn’t enough of a gift, Taylor also revealed that she re-recorded her entire Fearless album… but, there’s a catch. While the original album contained a total of thirteen songs (true Swifties know that 13 is Taylor’s lucky number), the new re-recorded version will contain 26 songs.
According to Swift herself, “I’ve decided to add songs from the vault, which are songs that almost made the original Fearless album”.
Um, excuse me, WHAT?! Wow. Taylor really said, “I know we’re going through tough times right now, so let me bring back some happy memories for you”. I was ten years old when the original “Love Story” track was released, and I’ll be 23 years old, when the re recorded version comes out, tonight. Absolutely incredible.
Although the new “Fearless” album release date was never directly stated, Taylor’s infamously known for her easter egg agenda. She’ll leave little hints here and there for her fans to find, and by now, the Swifties are absolute detectives.
After her GMA announcement, Taylor hopped onto Twitter, to release the following statement:
Did you catch the sporadic moments of letter capitalization? Well, that’s Taylor’s way of highlighting an important message: The new “Fearless” album will be released on April 9th, 2021.
When Taylor released her “Fearless” album in 2008, there was a lyric booklet included in every physical album copy. Much like her recent tweet, there were certain letters throughout the lyrics that were sporadically capitalized, such as: “Love you before I met you” in “Fearless” or “Someday I’ll find this” in “Love Story”.
So excited that Taylor is finally able to take back control of her own music. Back in 2019, Taylor was in a feud with Scooter Braun, Scott Borchetta and the Big Machine Records label. She had posted the following statement to Tumblr on June 30th of 2019 — in which she explained that, thanks to Braun + Borchetta, Taylor no longer had the rights to her older music.
Luckily, Taylor and the Swifties fought, until she was able to regain the rights to her songs back. Well, I’m sure I can speak for all Swifties, when I say that queen Taylor did NOT disappoint.
One major Taylor Swift fan/celebrity who made her excitement known, was none other than “Driver’s License” singer/HSMTMTS star, Olivia Rodrigo. It’s no surprise that Rodrigo is a huge Swiftie. After all, she even freaked out when Taylor congratulated Rodrigo on her massive success.
So, upon learning about her “Love Story” and “Fearless” upcoming debut, Rodrigo posted a series of photos/videos to her Instagram story:
A huge congratulations to Taylor, and the Taylor Nation! Now, if you need me, I’ll be at the store buying hundreds of tissues — in preparation for this monumental event tonight.
Last night’s episode of “The Bachelor” continued with last week’s drama. Matt pulled Jessenia and MJ aside, to speak to them individually about what’s going on.
Jessenia was very soft spoken and calm, when explaining that MJ was manipulative. MJ, however, denied everything and played the “victim” card.
Matt denied MJ a rose and walked her out. FINALLY. So, Anna, MJ and Victoria have officially gone home. Does this mean the drama’s over now?
… Yeah, well, it was for a few minutes — before Chris Harrison came out and announced that Matt would be skipping the cocktail party, and moving straight into the rose ceremony. Although all of the girls were upset, Serena C. started drama with Katie, and accused her as being the reason for this drama. Well, sorry Serena C., but Katie was just trying to do the decent thing and stop the toxicity in the house (which Serena C. doesn’t see). Um, if you can’t see that there’s bullying and toxic behavior occurring inside of the mansion, it might be because you were contributing towards the toxic behavior… Just saying.
Anyways, Katie let it go, and the women arrived at the rose ceremony. Ryan, Magi, and Brittany were eliminated.
The next day, Pieper got a one-on-one date card from Matt. Serena C. then walked into Katie’s room, and started attacking her about “starting drama” (when it was literally the other way around), and accusing Katie of not being authentic towards Matt.
Later on, Heather Martin arrived at the Nemacolin Resort. Martin was a contestant on Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor”, and she’s also good friends with former ‘Bachelorette’, Hannah Brown. Hannah was playing wingwoman towards Heather, and wanted her to meet Matt. Hannah and Matt are close friends, who’ve spent a lot of time together, during the beginning of the pandemic.
Chris Harrison was immediately taken aback by Heather’s arrival, and promised her that he would try to pull some strings, to get her onto the season.
Later that night was Pieper’s one-on-one date with Matt. They arrived at a county fair, went on rides, played some games, won a stuffed animal, and shared lots of passionate kisses. During the dinner portion of their date, Pieper opened up about her family, the reason for being so closed off, and admitted that she was falling in love with Matt. Pieper received the one-on-one rose.
Bri, Kit, Rachael, Michelle, Jessenia, Serena P., Abigail, Chelsea, and Serena C. were chosen for the group date. This meant that Katie was chosen for the next one-on-one date.
Meanwhile, Heather was officially admitted into the Nemacolin Resort, and she was getting ready to finally meet Matt.
This week’s group date consisted of bowling. Everyone was having a fun time together.. That is, until Chris Harrison showed up and split the women into teams. That’s when things turned serious. There were two teams: The “Pink Petals” and the “Blue Bombshells”. It was a close call, but the “Pink Petals” won the competition. This meant that Michelle, Chelsea, Jessenia and Serena P. got to spend more time with Matt at the after party.
Although the losing team walked back to the mansion in a slump, it wasn’t long before Chris Harrison came to deliver some great news: Matt felt guilty for sending the “Blue Bombshells” home, so he invited them to join the cocktail party. Michelle received the group date rose.
The following day was Katie’s one-on-one date. However, before then, we got to see a bit of a ‘bromance’ moment between Tyler Cameron and Matt James. Tyler coached Matt about his date with Katie, and then, it was off to the races.
Katie met up with Matt at the spa, where they pulled a light-hearted prank on Tyler C. They sat in a private booth, and through a microphone, they coached the masseuse (who’s really an actress) on what to say/do, throughout his session.
It began with Matt telling the masseuse to massage his chest area. Katie then told her to “twist Tyler’s ni**les”. It was absolutely hilarious. She then had to use the rolling pin as hard as she could on Tyler’s back. Just by the reactions alone, one could tell how uncomfortable he was. After a few more minutes of fun pranking, Matt took the lead and acted as Tyler’s masseuse. However, he was quick to catch on. Matt and Katie had so much fun during the day portion of their date.
Later on, their dinner portion started off great. They laughed about their day, and Katie opened up about her last long-term relationship. Out of nowhere, Matt grabbed a rose, and rather than giving it to Katie, he explained that his feelings are stronger towards some of the other women in the house. Katie was eliminated.
Just before the rose ceremony, Pieper went to talk to Matt. They were deep in conversation, when Heather walked in. Although Pieper had no idea who Heather was, Matt recognized her almost immediately. The two hugged, and Pieper left to inform the other women of what had just happened.
The women were pissed, and of course, that’s when the episode ended. I guess we’ll have to wait until next week, to find out whether or not Heather gets a rose.
The drama continued during Week 5 of “The Bachelor”. The week started off at the cocktail party. This was the night after Katie had confronted Matt about the toxicity going on, within the house. Matt stood in front of the women, and announced that bullies and toxic women aren’t the qualities that he’s searching for in a wife, and that he’ll be addressing these concerns ASAP.
First, Matt pulled Brittany away to talk, and Brittany revealed that it was Anna who started the escort rumor. Matt apologized for any hurt that was caused by this rumor, and then ushered Anna in, to speak with her in private.
Immediately, Anna began playing the ‘victim’ card. She told Matt that although she did start the rumor, she “immediately regretted it” and she “apologized to Brittany for being out of character” (which she didn’t — at least, not on camera).
Luckily, Matt was smarter than to fall for any tricks. He’s such a sweet guy, so of course he was gentle and understanding about the whole situation. However, he did end up sending Anna home — 1/3 of the contestants that were causing drama.
Immediately after Anna got sent home, the women who have been doing most of the bullying in the house began to apologize left and right to the newcomers. When Chelsea asked the new girls if they thought the house was toxic, Catalina and Michelle admitted that not only were there bullies in the house, but even the ones who didn’t outwardly make malicious comments, laughed at those malicious comments. It was clear that it made them uncomfortable, and to save their own relationships with Matt, the bullies began to kiss ass.
Victoria “apologized” to Catalina for taking her crown on night one. According to her, it “wasn’t malicious at all”. However, Victoria was just saying that to save her reputation with Matt.
Thankfully, Matt pulled Ryan in to talk to her, and Ryan was honest about Victoria’s attitude towards her, and the toxic environment that she creates.
Upon finding out about what Ryan had told Matt, Victoria had a mental breakdown. She pulled Matt aside, and tried to come up with excuses, as to why her actions have been acceptable. Matt simply stated that he needed “time to think”, and escorted himself out of the room.
That’s when Chris Harrison walked in, and informed the group that they were headed straight to the rose ceremony. Victoria had a meltdown once again, and claimed that she was better than all of the contestants.
The rose ceremony was the moment that Bachelor Nation has been waiting for, for the past few weeks: Victoria was finally eliminated.
Catalina, Mari, and Lauren were also eliminated, but Bachelor Nation let out a sigh of relief when Victoria’s name wasn’t called for a rose.
Although Anna and Victoria were 2/3 of the bullies on this season, I have to give Anna credit. She admitted defeat and walked away in silence. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for Victoria. While the other eliminated contestants went up to hug him and wish him the best of luck on his journey, Victoria told Matt that he was making a big mistake, and that none of those girls were right for him. She then stormed off like an upset toddler.
The next day started off with some positivity from the women. Rachael got the one on one date card, and the women were cheering her on.
Rachael’s date with Matt consisted of shopping spree. A private car took Rachael out to a store to meet Matt, and the celebrity stylist helped Rachael choose a perfect outfit (or two, or more). Matt was blown away by the red dress that Rachael came out in, and he surprised her with a pair of beautiful heels. They ended their day with a sweet kiss, and when Rachael arrived back at the mansion, the women were blown away.
Although the other women complimented her and were happy for her, a lot of them also felt very intimidated, because they wanted to get more time with Matt. Luckily, there was no drama… yet.
Serena P., Bri, Katie, Pieper, Serena C., Ryan, Michelle, Brittany, Magi, Abigail, Chelsea, Jessenia, and MJ were chosen for this week’s group date. Kit was chosen for the one on one date. Abigail and Katie took it the hardest, and expressed how confused they were.
Meanwhile, Rachael met with Matt for the dinner portion of their date. On the date, she admitted that she’s never fallen in love with anyone, due to her lack of self confidence. Rachael stated that even during the shopping portion of her date with Matt, she felt as though she didn’t deserve any of the presents that he had gotten for her.
She was open and transparent, and therefore, Matt appreciated it. He also admitted that he was falling in love with Rachael, and that when he’s with her, “everything just feels right”. Rachael received the one on one rose.
The following day was the group date. This group date related back to Matt’s countryside roots. The women arrived at a farm — where they had to collect chicken eggs, milk a goat, and get a feel of what the country vibes are like. This experience was meant to showcase patience in a relationship.
Although all of the women were eager to participate, MJ was quick to run away from the chickens. She was NOT having it, and although it was pretty funny, Matt paid more attention to her in that moment, than the other women… That is, until MJ walked in on Matt kissing Pieper, during her interview.
The rest of the women could see Matt and Pieper through the opening in the barn, and let’s just say they weren’t too happy, seeing their man kissing someone else (which is fair).
At the cocktail party, Abigail pulled Matt away, to express her concerns for the future. She was open about her father walking out on her, due to her hearing loss, and she admitted that she was scared that her future husband would do the same, if her child ended up being deaf.
Matt was quick to reassure her. According to the bachelor, he admired her honesty and strength, and thought of her as such a strong, defiant woman.
Shortly after, Matt pulled MJ away to talk with her. He mentioned that her name was involved in all of the drama that ensued within these past few weeks, and MJ defended herself by stating that she’s all about “peace and harmony”. She then told Matt that she had nothing to do with it (even though that was a blatant lie), and she walked away, visibly upset.
MJ then approached the women, and opened the floor for conversation. Ah, so you thought the drama was over, right? Well, unfortunately not. This IS “The Bachelor”, after all.
After Jessenia admitted that she told Matt about MJ’s toxic behavior, MJ lost it. Similarly to Victoria, MJ couldn’t admit that she was wrong, and demanded that Jessenia should apologize to her. One of the Bachelor Nation fans on Twitter said that, “it’s like Victoria left and her soul possessed MJ”. I mean…
Unfortunately, that’s not the last that we’ll see of MJ’s feud with Jessenia. In the mean time, Abigail got the group date rose, and the next day was Kit’s one-on-one date.
Kit had expressed her love for cooking to Matt, earlier in the season, and Matt listened. Kit went to Matt’s house — where they baked homemade cookies. Kit revealed that she’s never felt comfortable enough to be vulnerable with anyone, romantically. However, she feels “ready to dive into the deep end” with Matt. Kit received a rose.
Back in the realm of reality, there was still some obvious hostility between MJ and Jessenia. So, Matt wanted to settle things between the both of them. While Jessenia and MJ were waiting for Matt, words were exchanged. MJ stated that she was “embarrassed” for Jessenia, and she wouldn’t let Jessenia get a full sentence in. Jessenia spoke her truth, but MJ wouldn’t accept responsibility.
The two conveniently went silent, just as Matt was coming in to dispute the situation. Wow. I guess we’ll have to wait until next week to find out if MJ or Jessenia (or neither) are going home.
Also, it’ll be interesting to see what Tyler Cameron has to say about all of this — since he’ll be making a cameo in next week’s episode. Also making a cameo is Heather Martin. Heather was a previous contestant on Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor”. So, this should be very interesting…
Week 4 of “The Bachelor” started off with more of the women talking poorly about Sarah — even though she wasn’t at the mansion anymore. Victoria made a very rude remark about her, but Katie was quick to speak up and put a stop to it.
Naturally, Victoria got defensive and used some derogatory words towards Katie.
Later on was the second group date. Although Matt was still upset about Sarah leaving, he still tried to have a fun night.
Abby admitted that she never thought she’d make it past night one, and Chelsea got vulnerable about shaving off her hair.
After showing Matt a photo of her with long hair, Chelsea revealed that it was emotional for her to shave her head. However, it was more of a struggle for her (as a Black woman) to properly maintain her hair. Matt empathized with her, and the two had a genuine moment together.
Meanwhile, Victoria was back at the mansion, stirring up drama. She “demanded” an apology from Katie about “not being able to freely express herself”, but Katie (like the boss she is) stood her ground. She openly admitted that Victoria was toxic, and that she wasn’t getting an apology.
Back at the group date, Matt gave the group date rose to Chelsea.
The next night was the cocktail party — where one by one, women opened up to Matt and had their feelings validated. During Victoria’s conversation, however, Chris Harrison pulled Matt away to talk. As expected, Victoria was angry and annoyed, and she voiced her feelings about Chris Harrison, towards the ABC producers.
Meanwhile, Harrison admitted that due to the overwhelming response of applications, there were more women that would be arriving to meet Matt.
The first woman, Brittany, was very bold with her introduction. She kissed Matt right off the spot, and naturally, the other women were pretty upset.
Victoria immediately snapped at Brittany, but she was quickly met with defiance. Brittany didn’t mind the backlash. She was confident and accepted it.
The other new contestants included: Michelle, Ryan, Kim, and Catalina.
Victoria then went over to Catalina and snatched her tiara off of her head. There was a lot of new tension in the mansion, and even the viewers at home could feel it.
As Matt began spending time with the new contestants, some of the other contestants were angry about not getting time with Matt.
Soon after, the rose ceremony began. Khaylah, Kim, and Kaili were eliminated.
The next day was the first group date of the new week. Mari, Bri, Abigail, Victoria, Brittany, Ryan, Ana, Catalina and Magi were all chosen for the group date.
The date consisted of a fun obstacle course, hosted by former bachelor, Ben Higgins. The women had to paddle across a river in a 1,000lb pumpkin, dress up as squirrels, find their acorns, walk along a balance beam, and race to victory.
Poor Magi was stuck on the river — unable to paddle her way across. Mari won the obstacle course, and Anna cheated, by hiding Brittany’s acorn.
During the cocktail party, while Anna was talking to Matt, Brittany interrupted to pull him aside.
Shortly after, Anna was telling Victoria how she ‘heard’ that Brittany was an escort. Word spread quickly, and Brittany cleared up the rumor.
“No, I’m not an escort. I’ve had a boyfriend since I was sixteen. It’s so ridiculous to even have that come out of my mouth.”
Brittany admitted that Anna’s accusations hurt her. Of course, Victoria had to insert her opinion, and she told the new women to “get out of the house”.
The following day, Michelle had her one-on-one date — which included a scavenger hunt. They zip lined, popped some balloons to learn more about each other, and took a romantic ride in a hot air balloon.
Their dinner took place in a decorated auto shop. Matt asked Michelle about her experiences as a teacher in Minnesota, and Michelle got candid about wanting to make a difference for her students. She admitted that it was tough, not being able to interact with her students in person — due to Covid-19.
Matt appreciated her honesty, and during his post interview, he revealed that he could see her being his wife. Michelle received the one-on-one rose, and the two cozied up in the back of a car.
The following day, Brittany was speaking to Katie about the rumors that Anna had started about her. Katie tried to console Brittany, but she was also honest about how ruthless some of these women can be.
The second group date involved a boxing match. According to Matt, he wanted the women to release their frustration, and relieve themselves of the obvious tension, swirling through the house.
The women were excited and all for it. Chris Harrison and Wells Adams were the commentators for the match, while former world boxing champion, Mia St. John hosted the event.
The rounds went as followed:
Katie vs. Jessenia (Katie won)
Serena C. vs. Kit (Serena won)
Rachael vs. Pieper (Pieper won)
Serena P. vs. Lauren (Lauren won)
Lauren knocked Serena P. in the nose pretty hard, and that’s when Matt decided to stop the fight. He brought the women to the after party, and thanked all of the women for giving it their all on that group date.
Katie is a QUEEN. She tried so hard to stand up for the new girls, but no one else was backing her up. So, she did the right thing by privately confronting Matt about the situation. Although she didn’t name drop, she told him that the bullying needed to be addressed, and mentioned the rumors that were swirling around.
Luckily, Matt took that conversation to heart, and promised to address it with everyone, the following day. Next week seems like it’ll be interesting, but hopefully, Matt makes the right decision to eliminate the problematic women.
The house is full of toxicity and middle school drama. These women deserve to find love (as does Matt), but the constant bullying from women like Victoria & Anna are taking a major toll on the group’s mental health.
If you’re active on TikTok, Instagram and Twitter, then by now, you’re probably up to date with the Disney drama. If not, here’s a refresher:
On January 4th, Olivia Rodrigo (star of “High School Musical The Musical: The Series”, announced that her single, “Driver’s License” will be released (along with a music video) on January 8th. Rodrigo first teased her fans last July, with an acoustic snippet of “Driver’s License”. The original lyrics said, “you’re probably with that brunette girl — the one I always thought about. She’s so much older than me. She’s everything I’m insecure about”.
Well, also on January 4th, Rodrigo’s HSMTMTS co-star, Joshua Bassett, announced the release of his latest single, “I Know (Lie Lie Lie)”. He revealed that he would be premiering his single (accompanied by a music video) on January 14th. Bassett first posted a snippet of “I Know (Lie Lie Lie)” in November of 2019.
Within hours of releasing “Driver’s License”, the song broke the internet. On TikTok, fans flooded the platform with theories of who the song could be about. The fans were quick to figure out that the song was written about Bassett. While Bassett and Rodrigo had never officially confirmed their relationship status, Rodrigo’s lyrics were filled with ‘easter eggs’ (which makes sense, considering that Rodrigo is a huge Swiftie).
In her song, she mentioned that she would always talk to the boy about one day getting her driver’s license. Well, according to a past snapchat story, Bassett was the one that first taught Rodrigo how to drive, in an In N Out parking lot.
Rodrigo also brought up “the blonde girl” (she switched the lyrics from ‘brunette girl’), and fans have speculated the blonde girl to be Disney Channel actress/musician, Sabrina Carpenter. Carpenter and Bassett have been spotted in public together, quite a few times last year — including at a BLM protest, and wearing matching costumes for Halloween.
Although Rodrigo and Bassett have yet to speak out on the swirling rumors, Carpenter recently released a new single, called “Skin”. The lyrics discuss the possibility of being friends with someone, under different circumstances. In her song, Carpenter recited the following lyrics, “maybe you didn’t mean it. Maybe blonde was the only rhyme”.
She then goes on to voice that she’s happy and secure in her relationship, and that ‘the other girl’ hates to see it.
The internet was broken for the third time this month, and more rumors began to surface — the most popular one being that Carpenter wrote “Skin” as a diss track to Rodrigo’s “Driver’s License”. For several days, Carpenter was flooded with backlash about the meaning of her song.
However, last night, Carpenter set the record straight. She posted a candid photo of herself, and thanked her fans for all the love that they’ve shown, towards her latest single.
That being said, she then proceeded to deny all of the accusations and rumors — stating that, “I wasn’t bothered by a few lines in a (magnificent) song and wrote a diss track about it. I was at a tipping point in my life for countless reasons.”
Carpenter also admitted that “Skin” was about multiple people/experiences — rather than just one single person. According to the singer, it was an ode to her past self.
The public response was overall extremely positive. Some people were thanking her for addressing the situation and putting the alleged ‘drama’ to rest, and others were annoyed FOR her.
“I can’t believe she had to explain her own song because of the haters”, one fan commented.
Now that the air is cleared, hopefully the rumors will finally stop. However, it is the internet. So, we’ll see about that one. In the mean time, go stream “Driver’s License”, “I Know (Lie Lie Lie)” and “Skin”!
Just days after his acting debut in Machine Gun Kelly’s musical film, “Downfalls High”, LIL HUDDY (Chase Hudson) announced the start of his musical career.
On January 20th, the social media star released a teaser on Instagram. In the caption, he stated that music has been a passion of his, since he was a child. He grew up in a musical family, and although social media was what popularized him, Hudson wanted to explore the music industry.
Hudson has always expressed interest in the punk rock scene. From artists like My Chemical Romance, to 5 Seconds of Summer, he was made for the role of Fenix in “Downfalls High”.
According to Hudson’s Spotify-EPK (electronic press kit), he started taking his music seriously in 2020, and he even secured a record deal with Immersive/Geffen Records.
Last night, at 9 pm PST/12 am EST, Hudson released his debut single, “21st Century Vampire”. The song revolves around his vampire-like personality. It fits Hudson’s scene well, as he’s all about the black nail polish, leather jackets, and hardcore aesthetic.
Shortly after releasing “21st Century Vampire”, Hudson announced the premiere of the accompanied music video on YouTube. The music video gave off major TVD (“The Vampire Diaries”) vibes — from sucking the blood out of a woman’s neck, to sleeping in a dark coffin and hiding from the daylight. The only thing that Hudson was missing, was his own daylight ring.
In less than 24 hours, the music video has almost one million views, and the majority fan response is positive:
Even ex-girlfriend, Charli D’Amelio, praised Hudson for a job well done.
Congratulations on your latest projects, Chase. This is just the beginning for you!
