Have you ever wanted to video chat with your favorite celebrity? If you answered yes, you might just be able to turn that dream into a reality.
Seven of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities have announced their participation in the EBMRF bidding event.
In order to be entered, you must place a bid under the celebrity of your choice. Of course, not everyone will have the funds to bid. So, if you’re currently in a financial hardship, simply spreading the word about the EBMRF organization would be great.
The stars that are participating in this “Backstage Pass” Virtual Meet and Greet are as follows: Josh Brolin (Thanos from The Avengers), Kelly Clarkson (artist/talk show host/judge on The Voice), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller from Friends), Adam Sandler (Grown Ups, Click, Big Daddy) Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory, Josh Gad (Olaf in Frozen), and The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.
According to their Instagram, the goal for this celebrity bidding event is to raise money for EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa) families, that are struggling to pay for critical wound care supplies. Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare, genetic skin disorder, and occurs in 1 out of every 50,000 live births.
In a time where COVID-19 is causing an economic turmoil for society, many EB affected families can’t afford proper treatment at the moment.
The winner of each celebrity bid will get a private Zoom video chat with their favorite star. According to the organization’s website, their call is valid for up to 2 people, and will last for approximately 15 minutes. The exact date of the call is to be discussed upon winning the bid.
So far, the EBMRF Organization has raised $9,410 out of their $50,000 goal, and the bidding ends in approximately 12 days.
Best of luck to those who are bidding, and hopefully, the organization will be able to reach their $50,000 goal.
