If you have the TikTok app downloaded, then you know who Addison Rae is. With over 40 million followers, Addison is one of TikTok’s biggest creators, and is also a member of the Hype House.
Bryce Hall is a YouTuber/TikToker with over 6 million followers. He’s currently a member of the Sway House.
Hall and Rae first met in October of 2019, after Rae moved to LA, to pursue her social media career. Since then, Hall has shown up in numerous TikToks with Rae.
At first, the content was fun and light hearted. Hall was either in the background of Rae’s TikToks, or they were with other friends.
It wasn’t until December when fans started “shipping” the two social media stars. On December 4, 2019, Rae posted a singing TikTok with Hall. They lip synced to “Gotta Go My Own Way” from High School Musical 2, and they really got into character.
That’s when the comments rolled in, and fans began to speculate something more than “best friends” between the two.
In January, the official Hype House TikTok page posted a video, that included Hall and Rae sharing a kiss. Since it was their first official on-screen kiss, fans took that as confirmation that the two were dating.
However, towards the end of January, rumors swirled that Hall had allegedly cheated on Rae with another influencer.
On January 30th, Hall took to Twitter to confirm that he and Rae had decided to be nothing more than friends.
Rae also dismissed dating rumors, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, back in February.
Things were pretty quiet between the two for quite some time after that… That is, until just a few days ago.
Earlier this week, Rae posted a TikTok of her staring at the camera, with the caption: “Just me and my future bae staring at each other”.
Well, Hall decided to duet Rae’s video. He was staring at the camera with a funny face.
While there was no caption, Rae made it known that she had seen the video, by leaving one hilarious comment.
As predicted, fans went crazy over this duet. “Best couple on TikTok no cap”, one fan commented.
Fellow Sway members, Josh Richards and Jaden Hossler, left comments of approval as well.
The video currently has over 10 million views.
While the video was meant to be fun and playful, fans are still rooting for Addison and Bryce to get back together.
Only time will tell, but until then, they truly are best friend goals.
