On May 12th, the official St. Jude Instagram page announced that they will be throwing a virtual prom, to celebrate the children of St. Jude.

The prom will livestream on Friday, May 22, and will be free to access, via YouTube and Twitter.

Although the prom will honor the Seniors who are unable to attend their own, everyone is welcome. Parents are welcome, college students are welcome, and even those that would like a prom do-over are welcome to join.

Zach Sang (host of The Zach Sang Show) will be hosting the prom. According to a recent article, published by Isabel González Whitaker, Sang has been a long time St. Jude supporter, since he was 7-years-old.

Celebrities, such as: Lewis Capaldi, Monsta X, CNCO, Cheat Codes, Lauv, Surf Mesa, Noah Cyrus, Finneas, Asher Angel, MAX, Loren Gray, Olivia O’Brien, ASHE, and more have joined tomorrow night’s lineup.

Although the prom itself is free to livestream, people also have the option of becoming a VIP for the night. In order to become a VIP, you must be one

According to a statement from St. Jude’s website, “The first 2,500 participants to raise $400 will unlock exclusive access to the Pre-Prom from Home Red Carpet Event, where you’ll have the opportunity to hear a performance from a special guest and interact virtually with some of our celebrities!”

Though the event is in just over 24 hours, if 20 people can donate $20 each, then the $400 will be successfully fundraised.

Eligible VIP’s will also be granted with the opportunity to enter the 6:00 p.m. virtual red carpet.

For all other participants, the prom begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. and will last until 9:00 p.m.

However, if you think the party ends at 9 p.m., that’s where you’re mistaken. Although the prom ends after two hours, the after-party begins at 9.

A night full of dancing, celebrity interactions, and raising money for a great cause? It couldn’t get much better than that!
