In a series of recent sexual assault allegations towards multiple celebrities, Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, KJ Apa, and Vanessa Morgan are amongst those accused.
On June 21st, a Twitter account by the name of Victoria, came out with allegations towards Riverdale star, Cole Sprouse. She claimed that in 2013, during an NYU party, Sprouse drunkenly approached Victoria, flirted with her, and then took her to a private place, where he allegedly raped her.
The same day, a different account (by the name of Tasha) tweeted out allegations towards Riverdale lead, Lili Reinhart. Tasha claimed that Reinhart touched her inappropriately during a fan photo.
Tasha also came out with two more sexual assault stories, in regards to Vanessa Morgan and KJ Apa. Although all four Riverdale stars had initially received backlash and hate for the allegations, all of them denied that the above stories were true.
A few hours after the allegations surfaced, Cole Sprouse tweeted out the following:
Reinhart and Morgan re-tweeted Sprouse’s tweets, and Reinhart also responded with her own opinion:
It was later discovered that the accuser ran multiple accounts, and that the stories were fabricated for a “social experiment”. The user wanted to show how easy it was for people to “believe anything posted online”.
Twitter user, @sprousecabello, posted a thread of tweets, that included proof of the false accusations.
Sprouse and Reinhart announced that they’re looking into taking legal action against the anonymous accuser, and that they take these allegations very seriously.
