On the morning of Sunday, July 12th, Megan Thee Stallion was involved in an incident, involving firearms.

Earlier that night, the artist (most recently known for her hit single, “Savage”) was at a party in a Hollywood Hills mansion, with rapper, Tory Lanez, and KUWTK star, Kylie Jenner. They all went on Instagram live, to show that they were living their best life in the hot tub.

However, the party was shut down at around 4:30 a.m, after someone called the LAPD to report a violent disturbance.

According to TMZ, when authorities arrived at the scene, witnesses claimed that gun shots were fired, after an alleged argument broke out. The argument involved people in an SUV, and when the LAPD finally caught up to the matching car, Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion, and an unknown woman were all identified as passengers.

When law enforcement began searching the SUV, they discovered a concealed firearm in Lanez’ car. He was quickly arrested, as the possession of an unregistered firearm in California is considered a felony.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion was rushed to the hospital for injuries to her foot. While TMZ stated that the rapper had sustained the injuries from broken glass, Megan responded otherwise.

In an Instagram post from July 15th, the rapper revealed that she had been rushed to the emergency room for gunshot wounds. According to Megan, she had been the target of violence that morning. She also stated that she was not arrested with Lanez, debunking any and all previous rumors.

The full details of the incident have not been released. However, after undergoing surgery, Megan is expected to make a full recovery.

Lanez has since posted his $35,000 bail, and has officially been released from the Hollywood Jail.
