If you’ve ever seen Austin and Ally, My Friend Dahmer, or Teen Beach Movie, then you know who Ross Lynch is.
Most recently, Lynch is known for his reoccurring role as Harvey Kinkle in the Netflix series: The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show is a dark iteration of the 1996 Warner Brother’s comedy, Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
In this chilling series (pun intended), Sabrina Spellman’s main love interest is none other than Kinkle. However, in Season 2 of the show, the two are broken up, and both pursue new love interests.
Spellman ends up with a warlock, and Kinkle begins dating Spellman’s best friend, Rosalind Walker.
However, their relationship became more than just a casual acting role. The two have been posting adorable photos together on Instagram since late January. Lynch posted a series of photos of him and Jaz Sinclair (Rosalind Walker) holding hands, while leaving the Balmain Fashion Week Men’s Show in Paris, France.
Although there was no verbal confirmation that the two were dating, fans saw this as an unofficial confirmation.
“Omg it’s official!!”, one fan commented. Another fan said that they “ship” their relationship.
From there on out, Sinclair and Lynch were posting a lot more of one another on their social medias. While a majority of the comments were positive, and excited for the couple, there were a handful of negative comments as well.
The negative comments were more focused on Sinclair’s race, than on the couple’s relationship as a whole. Derogatory, racist comments were sprinkled throughout many of their photos on Lynch’s Instagram.
Due to the awful hate that she’s been getting, Sinclair felt the need to limit her Instagram comments. Yesterday, however, Lynch decided to put a stop to all of this.
He took to Instagram to post various nature photos of the two, with the caption: “Yo guys whoever is being hateful to jasmine and I’s relationship (especially on a race basis wtf) can take a step back. We are both extremely happy. Thanks”.
Some of Lynch’s cast mates showed their support for the couple in the comment section. Luke Cooke (Lucifer Morningstar) responded with the following: “You attack her, you attack us! Love this mate xx”.
Lucy Davis (Aunt Hilda) brought some love and light to Lynch’s statement: “I love you both soooo much. You are GOLD. LOVE LOVE LOVE.”
Their fans also responded positively to the post, with one user calling it “ridiculous” that Lynch had to even address this.
Much like the old saying, “if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Although some fans may be upset that their favorite heartthrob is in a relationship, that’s not a valid reason to attack someone with racist comments (or any hate, for that matter).
We wish Ross and Jaz the best of happiness throughout their relationship, and please remember to be kind to others.
If you’ve seen the latest season of The Bachelor, you’ll know that there were a lot of drama, twists, and hiccups in the show. Fans thought that some girls were unfairly eliminated, while others wanted certain contestants off the show from the first episode.
By the end of the season, Weber had gotten engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss, broke off the engagement, and then reconciled with Madison Prew during the the finale.
However, after Weber’s mother, Barbra Weber, voiced her opinion about disapproving their relationship, viewers wanted a direct answer as to whether or not Peter would end up choosing Madison.
A few days after agreeing to take things slowly, both Prew and Weber took to Instagram to announce that they were no longer going to pursue their relationship.
In late March, TMZ released a series of photos of Weber and former contestant, Kelley Flanagan, together in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
Weber has admitted that he is currently isolating with Flanagan, and that the two are just friends right now. They are also in self quarantine with former Bachelorette contestant, Dustin Kendrick.
Since the global population now has a lot of down time, due to social distancing and stay at home orders, Weber took it upon himself to create a TikTok account. After posting his first few TikToks, the hate began to roll in.
One by one, people were commenting negative things about Weber, his dancing, and how he “wasted a season of The Bachelor”.
He then took to Instagram on April 2nd, to post a video of him eating cookies, while reading hate comments. “I didn’t think I could watch something worse than Peter’s season, but I was wrong”. That was just one of the many hateful comments left on his TikTok video.
Although Weber laughed it off, and tried to make light out of a negative situation, there appeared to be more negative comments than positive ones. While it’s not confirmed that hate comments are the reason, Weber has since turned off all of the comments on his Instagram pictures/videos.
His TikTok comment section remains open for now, and he seems to be responding to hate comments in a jokingly manner.
One TikTok user left a comment, that read: “Kelly must be tired from holding you AND the entire season on her back”. Well, instead of responding with more hate, Weber replied back, with a simple: “She’s the real mvp”.
While it’s true that Bachelor Nation fans are allowed to have their own opinions about the show, leaving hate doesn’t constitute as an opinion. It’s cyber bullying, and while Weber may not appear directly affected by the comments, words can hurt a person.
It’s great that Flanagan and Weber were able to move past all of the reality television drama, and live life without limitations.
With everything negative that is currently going on in the world, a little bit of kindness goes a long way.
The Global Citizen organization, as well as the World Health Organization, knows that this is a dark time for many people.
Between unemployment rates skyrocketing, having trouble focusing during online Zoom classes, and stressing about getting the COVID-19 virus, these past few months have been awful.
Depression and anxiety are at its highest, and the time stamp of when this virus will end is unknown.
However, one thing that has proven to have some sort of calming effect is music. According to a study, conducted by researchers at Stanford University, “A small but growing body of scientific evidence suggests that music and other rhythmic stimuli can alter mental states in predictable ways and even heal damaged brains”.
Music can also be recognized as the universal language. Lady GaGa, the WHO and Global Citizen have acknowledged this. So, they worked together to put on a virtual concert series, called One World: Together At Home.
The first bit of musical performances took place on March 17th, and included artists, such as: John Legend, Coldplay, Charlie Puth, Niall Horan, and more. They performed a variety of songs from the comfort of their own homes, and live-streamed it on Instagram.
Last night, Lady GaGa worked together with these organizations, to turn this small concert series into a nation-wide televised event.
The televised version ran for about two hours, and from 2 p.m, until the concert streamed at 8 p.m on television, the Global Citizen YouTube account live-streamed the concert online.
The difference between the televised version, and the YouTube version? Well, mainly the runtime. On Global Citizen’s YouTube page, the concert ran for 8 hours. The televised version, however, only lasted for two hours.
While the March 17th mini concert only contained a handful of artists, about 80 celebrity superstars participated in this event.
Artists ranged, from Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Beyoncé, to Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, and Paul McCartney.
Talk show hosts, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon introduced the talented woman who organized this televised special: Lady GaGa. GaGa started off by thanking the WHO/Global Citizen for helping to create the event, and then went on to acknowledge the people working tirelessly on the frontlines.
She then transitioned into a beautiful rendition of Charlie Chaplin’s song, “Smile”.
In between artist introductions, there were video clips of how hard teachers, healthcare workers, and first responders are working to ensure the safety/well being of others.
A lot of teachers have been driving by their students’ houses, or reading to their special education students from afar. One teacher even went above and beyond to make his students laugh, by wearing a colorful unicorn onesie on Zoom.
Country singer, Kacey Musgraves, gave an emotional performance of her popular song, “Rainbow”. All over the world, people have been drawing/painting pictures of rainbows, to signify positivity and hope.
Jimmy Fallon did a humorous performance with his house band, The Roots. The song was called “The Safety Dance”, and it featured many nurses and doctors from all over the world. They were laughing, dancing, and enjoying themselves for a few minutes.
There were discussions by news anchors and food bank founders, discussing how packed food banks have been, since the COVID-19 virus began. A lot of people either can’t afford basic necessities, or they can’t find them in local supermarkets. So, they resort to food banks to provide them with milk, eggs, bread, or anything that they can offer.
On the contrary, homelessness was also a major point of discussion during the televised event. It’s true that while many are able to social distance and stay out of harm’s way, a handful of people are stuck wandering the streets. There are people in California that are forced to live in tents that are so close, they’re touching one another. Personal space isn’t an option for the homeless, and Amy Poehler introduced a special guest to educate us about that.
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello performed a piano-version of “What A Wonderful World”, Lizzo performed “A Change Is Gonna Come”, and The Rolling Stones even appeared to perform their hit song, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”.
Beyoncé made a cameo appearance, to stress that this virus in particular is killing Black Americans at a dangerously high rate. “57% of COVID-death related cases in my hometown city of Houston, Texas are African American. Please protect yourselves. We need you. We need your voices, your strength, and your ability all over this world”, the singer pleaded.
Jimmy Kimmel ordered food, and tipped his delivery guy with a homemade pizza, disinfected money, and a roll of toilet paper. It was quite adorable.
Spongebob even popped into the show to teach people how to properly wash their hands, and get unwanted bacteria off of dirty hands.
Billie Eilish has admitted in the past, that she’s always felt like an old soul. She’s only 18, and yet, she’s wise beyond ur years. Eilish performed a cover of the 1966 Bobby Hebb song, “Sunny”. Joined by her side was none other than her brother, Finneas — who was playing the piano.
Taylor Swift was one of the last performers, and she gave it her all, when she performed her song, “Soon You’ll Get Better”. The song is track 11 on her album, Lover, and was written about Swift’s mother and biggest supporter, Andrea Swift. Andrea is unfortunately dealing with cancer, and a newfound brain tumor. Taylor has never performed that song live before — the main reason being that it’s such an emotional, heartbreaking track, and she didn’t think that she’d be able to get through the full song.
Knowing the backstory is what made Swift’s live television performance so much more emotional. Although the song has a personal connection to her mother, the lyrics can pertain to families of COVID-diagnosed patients.
You can watch the full 8 hour livestream below.
So far, Lady GaGa and Global Citizen have fundraised over $100 million for the COVID-19 relief fund.
You can do your part to help by going to: http://www.globalcitizen.org and making the pledge to stay home and social distance. Together, in unity, we can fight this disease.
The Disney Family Singalong special premiered last night on ABC, and fans were ecstatic.
Not only did the Disney family come together for a special night of laughs, unity, song, and fun, but it was also a chance for a certain DCOM cast to reunite.
Earlier in the week, Ashley Tisdale announced via Instagram that a High School Musical reunion was in the works, and that it would happen during ABC’s Disney Family Singalong special.
Well, rumors turned to confirmation from various news outlets, when it was revealed that Zac Efron would be joining the Disney special for the High School Musical reunion. Fans were ecstatic, as this was the first time in years that the whole cast has been together.
However, that excitement didn’t last long, because while Zac Efron did make an appearance during the Disney special, it wasn’t exactly what fans had in mind.
Efron appeared briefly on screen, to introduce his old Wildcat friends and ensure that they’re all in this together. Then, he bid farewell, and the rest of the cast was introduced on screen, to perform their signature High School Musical anthem, “We’re All In This Together.”
Fans claimed to have been mislead by Efron’s cameo, and soon after the premiere ended, they were flooding his Instagram with disappointed comments.
“High School Musical made you who you are. very disappointed”, one fan commented.
Others continued expressing their disdain and disappointment towards the infamous actor. However, there were also people defending him, and trying to stop the hate.
Someone left a comment, saying that, “ya’ll assume things that aren’t true. You don’t know why he wasn’t on. He could have been sick or something was going on. don’t assume things”.
Although it was unfortunate that Efron didn’t reprise his role as Troy Bolton, for the classic Wildcat anthem, there are much bigger things to worry about at the moment.
It’s okay to be upset, but leaving hate comments on the actor’s Instagram is never okay, and I’m sure his former cast-mates would agree.
Spread positivity; not hate (or germs, for that matter).
Last night, ABC premiered the Disney Family Singalong Special, and it was so wholesome.
Celebrities came together like one big family, for a night of singing, dancing, and all around entertainment.
The show started off with Ryan Seacrest presenting Derek Hough, as he sang “Be Our Guest” from Disney’s Beauty and The Beast. Julianne Hough also made a guest star appearance.
Auli’i Cravalho also made an appearance to perform the Disney hit song, “How Far I’ll Go” from the 2016 animated film, Moana.
Other artists, such as Little Big Town, Glee’s own Amber Riley, and country superstar, Josh Groban made cameos to perform some classic Disney songs.
Beyoncé graced our presence with a beautiful rendition of “When You Wish Upon A Star”, and it sent chills down my spine. She never fails to impress. Beyoncé has been a part of the Disney family, ever since the release of “The Lion King: The Gift”. Queen B recorded 28 songs for the 2019 remake of Disney’s The Lion King.
Aladdin was redefined when a handful of talented Broadway stars took the reigns and performed “Friend Like Me”.
After that, it was time for Ariana Grande to perform “I Won’t Say I’m In Love” from the classic Disney film, Hercules. Grande has incredible vocals, but wow. She truly did this song justice. Between the runs, the harmonies, and the soft tone of her voice, the rendition was absolutely beautiful.
Christina Aguilera blew viewers away, when she sang The Lion King’s “Can You Feel The Love Tonight.” Aguilera’s strong vocal control and emotional tone is so hypnotizing. You can’t help but to sit and listen to her soothing vocals.
If you’ve ever watched Pocahontas, then you know “Colors of the Wind”. While the original was beautiful and smooth, Tori Kelly’s live vocals didn’t disappoint. Much like Aguilera, the control in her voice, and the range that she possesses, is out of this world.
Afterwards, the reunion that fans have been aching for had finally arrived. Zac Efron (Troy Bolton) introduced his friends: Kenny Ortega, and the original cast of High School Musical.
Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, and Monique Coleman started off by singing the beginning to High School Musical’s hit track, “We’re All In This Together”.
It started off with a soft ballad, as Grabeel played the piano, and it was both emotional and nostalgic to see the cast unite for such an incredible event.
Later, the cast was accompanied by some special Disney Channel guests.
Members from the Descendants trilogy, High School Musical the Musical: The Series, and Raven Symone from The Cheetah Girls/That’s So Raven all joined in to sing the rest of the song. Even popular TikToker, Charli D’amelio, made a short cameo to show off her High School Musical dance moves.
This Disney special was televised to raise money for Feeding America – “the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, working to connect people with food and end hunger”.

According to their website, the money from every Cameo that is purchased will go towards benefitting these four COVID-19 affected organizations: No Kid Hungry, MusiCares, The Actors Fund, and the Restaurant Emoloyee Relief Fund.
What time is it? Oh, yeah. It’s time for nostalgic moment, after nostalgic moment. This entire quarantine has been a mess. It’s been stressful, anxiety driven, and really out of place for everyone.
However, a lot of celebrities are joining forces to make light out of this negative situation. Whether it’s through virtual concerts, livestream Q&A sessions, or cast reunions, a lot of people are being entertained at home.
Well, recently, it was revealed that (thanks to Kenny Ortega and ABC) the original cast of High School Musical was going to reunite for a virtual television performance.
This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen the cast come together, within the past few months. On March 16, Ashley Tisdale took to TikTok, to post a video of her dancing to the HSM hit song, “We’re All In This Together.”
Other cast members, such as KayCee Stroh (Martha Cox) Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella Montez), and Bart Johnson (Coach Bolton) decided to join in the fun, and brought back some nostalgic memories.
A few days ago, Tisdale posted a screenshot on Instagram, of a Deadline article. Just by reading the title, it brings immediate excitement. Zac Efron (Troy Bolton) is coming back to join the ABC Disney special. According to a statement by director, Kenny Ortega, “We couldn’t reach Zac until late but when we did, he immediately jumped in, of course.”
This will bring back so many memories, as High School Musical was a huge childhood memory for many fans.
Speaking from personal experience, whenever I would have karaoke night with my friends, we would always somehow incorporate a few songs from High School Musical. It was a part of who we were. The movie premiered on Disney Channel when I was still in middle school, and I didn’t have much to worry about.
I’m in my 20’s now. So, seeing the cast come together for this wonderful ABC special is going to bring back so many feelings, and evoke a lot of wholesome emotions.
Aside from the cast of High School Musical, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, the cast of HSMTM: The Series, and more will be performing some classic Disney hits!
Famous TikTokers, Dixie and Charli D’amelio, have also hopped on board with this Disney special. They announced via Instagram that the entire D’amelio family will be making a special cameo appearance on the show.
Ryan Seacrest will be hosting the premiere. So, tune into ABC on Thursday, April 16, at 8 PM, for the Disney Family Singalong special.
David Dobrik is one of the biggest content creators on YouTube right now. Each of his videos are 4 minutes and 20 seconds long, and mostly consists of his friends doing the craziest things.
They get drunk, break things (including body parts), get into fist fights, kiss one another, and Dobrik even brings on celebrity guests. Some of his guests have included: Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Courtney Cox, and Justin Bieber.
Dobrik has always stated that due to how busy his life is, and the fact that he’s allergic, he couldn’t see himself owning a dog.
However, his assistant/long time best friend, Natalie Mariduena, has been asking Dobrik if they could foster a puppy together (Mariduena lives with Dobrik, and a lot of fans ship them together).
It’s been proven that dogs tend to relieve anxiety from humans, and with all of this COVID-19 madness, Dobrik caved. On April 2nd, he posted a TikTok, in which he revealed their new puppy. Her name is Iron Man, and their plan was to foster her until she was old enough to find her fur-ever home.
Iron Man is a fitting name, because of Dobrik’s obsession with the films. Before hosting the Teen Choice Awards in 2019, Dobrik stood outside of his trailer, and waited for actor, Robert Downey Jr. to pass by. He then approached him, and turned into the biggest fan boy.
Mariduena and Dobrik have most likely argued numerous times about the name choice, but it’s all about compromise.
In the meantime, Iron Man has been a daily part of Dobrik’s Instagram stories. He’s filmed her sleeping, biting him, running, and being absolutely adorable.
They partnered with the Labelle Foundation in Los Angeles, to bring Iron Man in as a foster.
However, yesterday, on the rescue’s official Instagram page, they posted a series of photos, featuring Iron Man. They captioned the photo: “The time has come to reveal Ferns puppies DNA!! All of her pups have found amazing and loving homes!!”
One user, by the name Ilaria Palmas, asked if they’ve all been permanently adopted. When the foundation responded with an excited “yes!”, Dobrik fan, Taylor Koester decided to clarify.
“@taykoester: interesting, because David said he was only fostering this pup. Curious if he’d be available for adoption?”
Once again, the Labelle Foundation responded, and confirmed that Dobrik had recently decided to officially adopt Iron Man.
Dobrik also revealed on his podcast, Views, that Iron Man seems to be the one dog that he’s not allergic to. It’s almost like she was meant to be David and Natalie’s puppy.
Congratulations, David and Natalie! We can’t wait to see Iron Man’s journey to adulthood, and we wish you the best of luck with training!
(Update): On Thursday, April 16th, David took to Instagram to post that while he and Natalie were strongly considering adopting Iron Man, she was sent to her furever home somewhere else.
Ah, they fooled us all. Hopefully, one day, David and Natalie will end up adopting one of these cute puppies. Until then, I wish Iron Man the best of luck in his new home, and I hope to see some cute pupdates in the near future!
By now, you’ve probably binge-watched all of Tiger King… But, if you haven’t, you’ve at least heard of it… right?
It’s been #1 on Netflix since it came out, and it’s been a distraction from all of the news, surrounding COVID-19. About a week ago, Netflix announced that Tiger King was getting one more episode. Yesterday, they followed through with their promise.
In this after-show special (called “The Tiger King and I”), Joel McHale hops on Zoom to interview the Tiger King cast, regarding their thoughts on the documentary. They also talked about life after the documentary, newfound fame, and even shared dark stories about former G.W. Zoo owner, Joe Exotic.
Erik Cowie was the first to appear on screen, and he owned the title of head zookeeper at the G.W. Zoo in Oklahoma. He seemed very genuine, yet blunt. Cowie didn’t sugarcoat anything, and he admitted that he’s content, that Joe Exotic is likely “going to die in jail”. Cowie also revealed that he wasn’t fond of the attention that surrounded him, and that he also didn’t appreciate the constant comparisons to Vince Neil of Motley Crue.
When McHale asked Cowie if he appreciated the comparison, Cowie responded with a blunt, “Oh, god. No. I fu*king hate Motley Crue.” The rest of the conversation was humorous, and McHale ended the interview by stating that Cowie was such an honest, good man.
Jeff and Lauren Lowe were up next. This was more of a speed-interview round. So, while I won’t go into every question, I would like to point out a few things that they said. First off, when asked whether or not they believe that Carole Baskin killed her husband, almost immediately, there was a “yes”. They admitted that they’ve believed that theory for years.
Jeff Lowe also stated that, “Joe was his biggest enemy. He should’ve gone up and testified against himself.” This was in reference to the many times he threatened to kill Baskin on camera, and the fact that he admitted to murdering five healthy tigers for cage space. Exotic did try to defend himself from jail, however, and stated that the tigers were “sick”. So far, it’s him against the Lowes and Cowie, who believe otherwise.
Next to speak, was the former G.W. Zoo manager, John Reinke. I feel like the viewers didn’t get to learn much about him, except for the fact that both of his legs were amputated, from an unfortunate accident. So, I’m glad that Joel brought him on the episode to share his side. Reinke admitted that Exotic constantly made him feel like he was unfit to run the zoo, and according to him, “he always tried to keep everybody smaller than him”. Reinke also shared something new with the viewers. Apparently, Exotic was so obsessed with the cameras and fame, that he decided to blow up Reinke’s golf cart and cabin, just because he needed quality content.
Saff Saffery was a former animal keeper, and was most notably recognized for his accident, in which a tiger tore his arm off. One main thing to note before continuing on with Saffery’s interview, is that he was constantly misgendered throughout the documentary. The viewers assumed that Saffery was a woman, but clearly, that’s not the case. However, when asked about his thoughts on that, Saffery admitted that “it didn’t bother me as much as it bothered everyone else. I didn’t really pay it any mind.”
Saffery closed out his interview by admitting that although justice was serviced for Exotic, he doesn’t want to see him die in jail, because he “did a lot of bad things, but he also did a lot of good things as well.”
Josh Dial, Joe’s ex-campaign manager, was next in line. Dial is best known for his “fu*k the feds” phrase. Dial juxtaposed Lowe’s opinion of The Tiger King documentary, and praised the execution of the series. “The way they did this documentary.. it’s fair, it’s balanced, and I just think it’s a wonderful documentary.” Lowe, however, noted that Netflix needed a villain, and that’s why they made Lowe the villain of the series.
Dial also admitted that he was aware that Exotic was “bat-shit crazy”, but he didn’t care, because it was a once in a life time experience to do what he did. Dial spoke about his experience in a mostly positive light.
Joel did touch on the subject of Travis (one of Exotic’s ex-husbands), and his suicide, however. Dial was in the same room as Travis when he took the gun that Exotic had bought for him, and raised it to his own head. According to Dial, he didn’t believe that Travis had any intention of committing suicide. “Joe just bought him a Ruger. He said, ‘hey. You know, a Ruger won’t fire without a clip.’ I said, really? He said, ‘yeah’. Right there, he put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger… to prove to me that it wouldn’t fire without a clip. However, it must have had one in the chamber.”
Nearing the end of the interview, Dial told Joel that he’s working on raising some money for counseling. He bluntly stated that Exotic never offered any assistance, or mode of counseling, after he witnessed something so traumatic.
Finally, we got to see John Finlay. Finlay now has a new set of teeth, and he appears to be healthier, and more well spoken than depicted in the series. He even spoke on that subject, and announced that at the time of filming, he was 4-5 years sober. According to Finlay, he made the decision to quit when his daughter was born. He is now engaged to fiancé, Stormey, and they binge-watched the series within seven hours. She was also the reason that Finlay made an appointment to get his teeth fixed, according to an interview he did was Us Weekly.
Joel couldn’t close out the episode without interviewing one last person: former producer of Joe Exotic TV, Rick Kirkham. This is where things turn dark. Although in the previous interviews, we learned just how cruel Exotic was to both his employees, as well as the animals, the story that Kirkham shared had me welling up with tears.
Kirkham admitted that he forfeited his journalistic integrity, because instead of going to the authorities with the information that he knew, he remained silenced. He then went on to tell the disturbing story of how Exotic promised a woman that, since he had an array of land, he would care for her horse (since she was unable to do so anymore). Once the woman dropped the horse off at the zoo, however, Exotic turned towards Kirkham, grabbed his gun, and killed the innocent horse. “I don’t take care of nobody’s animals. Now, they’re tiger meat.” According to Kirkham, those were Exotic’s exact words, before feeding the deceased horse to the tigers.
Kirkham also let the viewers in on the fact that the “Tiger King” is actually terrified of tigers, and when we saw him go into the tiger cage with the animals, they were either blind or tranquilized.
As a final statement, Kirkham sincerely admitted that he regretted meeting Joe Exotic, and that he wanted to put all of what happened behind him. Unfortunately for him, this is currently the biggest docu-series in the United States at the moment. So, that may not end up happening for a while.
Although this is a docu-series, the audience is seeing these people in a different light. We were able to get a different perspective on Jeff Lowe, and we were able to hear the zoo employees speak from their own voice, instead of being silenced or interrupted.
“The Tiger King and I” intended to clear up any misconceptions (such as accusations of severe drug use), and allow these individuals to freely speak their mind on the subject.
It is getting quite a bit of backlash from viewers, however.
One person tweeted out, saying: “Show was disappointing. You didn’t ask the right questions. Why is the zoo still open? Are they still breeding? Be concerned about the crap going down and less interested in the attention for yourself.”
Meanwhile, others were upset with Joel directly, and some of the comments that he made towards the cast members.
Whether or not there will be a movie, or a season 2, is unconfirmed. There are currently many different theories, circulating around.
However, all we know for certain is that Joe Exotic’s chapter is finished.
If you were an Avid Nickelodeon watcher in the late 2000’s, then you might be familiar with Big Time Rush.
The show followed a group of best friends from Minnesota, as they moved to Los Angeles, to pursue their musical passion.
Along side of Logan Henderson, Carlos PenaVega, and James Maslow, was Kendall Schmidt. Schmidt played the role of the stubborn, yet level headed Kendall Knight.
While music and comedy were prominent themes in the show, romance became just as important, after Jo Taylor entered the picture. Taylor (played by actress/musician, Katelyn Tarver) acted as Knight’s continuous love interest on the show.
The two were even shipped by fans as a couple in real life. However, according to them, they never dated, outside of the show.
Kendall Schmidt is currently in a long term relationship with Micaela von Turkovich (Mica), and Katelyn Tarver is married to husband, David Blaise.
Five days ago, Schmidt posted the latest episode of his Instagram series: Koffee With Kendall.
This particular episode was special, because Kendall’s guest was none other than Katelyn Tarver. First off, let me just say that they haven’t aged. Both have the same baby faces that they had on the show (minus Kendall’s facial hair, of course).
The two talked about Big Time Rush memories, shared some behind the scenes photos, and they even exposed some secrets. Tarver mentioned that she was cracking herself up behind the camera, during the “Big Time Goodbye” episode. For those of you who may not have seen the episode, Jo leaves Los Angeles to take a movie role in New Zealand. Kendall and Jo are forced to breakup, but Jo leaves the PalmWoods hotel, without giving Kendall their signature “goodbye kiss”.
This is when Kendall rushes to catch Jo at the airport before her flight takes off, and James, Carlos, and Logan follow closely behind. After they get their goodbye kiss, the boys start to sing/dance to a heartbreak song, called “Worldwide”.
Tarver gushed that the reason she found this particular scene hilarious, was because the camera recorded the “Worldwide” song in slow motion. Recording in slow motion meant that Big Time Rush had to sing and dance to the song at 2x the speed that they normally would, in order to capture the proper fps (frames per second).
They also discussed why Tarver had to leave the show in the first place, and it was due to an upcoming television series that she had signed on for, as the lead. However, that specific show was never picked up, and her character, Jo, was brought back for the final season of Big Time Rush.
If you’ve watched Schmidt’s live, and you’re in the mood for more nostalgia, Tarver did an Instagram live of her own. Schmidt was a guest on her livestream, after she appeared on his, and the two continued to reminisce about their BTR days. They even recreated this scene:
They also reacted to an episode together, and finally, Schmidt serenaded Tarver, and the audience, with a beautiful acoustic rendition of “Worldwide”.
One by one, celebrities are bringing back nostalgic childhood memories, and we’re all here for it.
