These Tiger King Memes Are Everything

Courtesy: Netflix

As you may or may not know, Netflix recently released a new documentary series, called Tiger King. It’s been #1 on the Netflix trending page for weeks already. However, it isn’t just the content in the show that has everyone talking. It’s the memes that people have been posting all over social media.

If you haven’t seen the show, I suggest watching it, or at least, watching an overview of the series before continuing to read on.

Now, sit down, turn off the news for a few minutes, and enjoy some of my top pick Tiger King memes.

  1. Guess Who – The Carole Baskin Version

Whoever created this one is an absolute genius. If you’re in your early teens, or you’re unfamiliar with the board game, “Guess Who”, it’s a two person game. The objective is for one player to choose a character on their board, and for the opposing player to guess physical features/traits until they guess the right character. In this meme, someone inserted Joe Exotic as the player, and a small version of Carole Baskin as the character. The purpose of the “Does she look like a b*tch?” quote, has to do with Exotic’s description of Baskin. During the series, he would never call her by her name. Rather, he would call her, “That b*tch, Carole Baskin.”

2. The Wheel of Carole Baskin

In the infamous Wheel of Fortune game, contestants are allowed one chance to guess the full phrase if they think they know it. In this case, the meme creator made a mockery of the game, and inserted Joe Exotic as one of the contestants. The phrase? Well, I’ll have you take a guess as to what his adorable pet name for Baskin was.

3. The Infamous Bible Verse

In the Leviticus section of the Old Testament, it states that “if a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them.” Well, in those days, it was common to stone people as a death sentence. In Tiger King, the audience learned that Exotic got married to 19 year old, Travis Maldonado. Maldonado wasn’t gay, but he stayed with Exotic because he provided him with all of the drugs that he could handle. Hence, the “stoned/high” reference.

4. Nice To (Expired) Meat You

This meme is exactly what it sounds like. I’m not gonna lie, I got pretty nauseous watching this part of the series. At one point, Joe starts unloading an expired food truck. The food is discounted from Walmart, and he would normally have his employees take the expired meat and feed it to the wild cats. However, come to find out that he not only fed expired meat to the cats, but he fed them to his employees as well. Exotic thought that he was being generous by letting the workers pick which meat they’d like first, and he also thought that feeding his workers homemade pizza with expired meat toppings was so “kind and thoughtful.” Well, this meme has a good point. Former G.W Zoo visitors who saw this part of the docu-series, must have questioned everything about the food that they ate there.

5. The Tiger Slide

Rapper, Drake, recently came out with a song called the “Toosie Slide”, and it’s become a popular TikTok dance. Well, someone decided to put the song as a backing track, to Exotic getting dragged by the tigers. The humorous part about it was watching Exotic get a taste of his own medicine. Plus, the song fits well with that scene. Luckily, the clip stopped right before he abused the poor tigers, though. It angered me so much, watching what succeeded the above clip.

6. Carole Baskin, The Savage

Speaking of TikTok, a new dance trend has surfaced within recent weeks, and it’s a fun dance to Megan Thee Stallion’s song, “Savage.” As of the past few days, someone decided to change up the lyrics, and create a parody of the song, relating to Carole Baskin. If you watch the above clip, you’ll hear that the song is all about how Carole Baskin murdered her ex-husband, Don Lewis, and allegedly fed him to the tigers.

7. Even The UPS Carriers Are Invested

Last, but certainly not least, there’s this infamous photo that’s circulating around the internet. It even reached famous daytime talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres. This clever homeowner was awaiting some packages, and wanted to bring some light to this whole COVID-19 scary situation. So, they printed out the question that everyone is awaiting confirmation for: Did Carole Baskin kill her husband and feed him to the big cats? Well, this UPS delivery man sure thinks so. He did leave the packages towards the “yes” answer, after all.

Although there are many other Tiger King memes, these were just a handful of my favorites. I would like to note though, that these memes are in no way meant to take away from the seriousness of this situation. At the end of the day, the docu-series contained animal abuse, the mistreatment of workers, death threats, murderers, suicide, and serious allegations.

If you have yet to watch the show, and you’d like to do so, please continue at your own discretion, and be warned that it’s not meant for everybody to watch.

Netflix has stated that they will also be dropping one more episode of the show, at some point this week. So, be sure to stay tuned for that.

Jimmy Fallon Teamed Up With These Celebrities, For The Tonight Show: At Home Edition

Courtesy: NBC/The Tonight Show

Recently, Cyrus uploaded the finale episode of her “Bright Minded” Instagram show, and Jimmy Fallon was one of her guests.

The segment was very wholesome, and the two introduced their dogs, and they received a majority of the screen time.

Then, Fallon complimented Cyrus about her show. He admitted that she did such a good job, and it looked very legit. However, Cyrus did say that, “You do have one thing that I don’t have. You have “The Roots”. What’s it like working with them every night?” In case you’re unfamiliar, “The Roots” are Jimmy Fallon’s house band. They’re infamous, and have won several Grammy awards. They’ve also been featured in various movies, have played for artists, such as Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Robin Thicke, Mariah Carey, and more.

Fallon explained that, “The thing I love about them is that they’re up for a challenge. They’re always asking to do different song versions, or different genres. They just love music so much.”

The conversation then switched to Fallon complimenting Cyrus, and her mannerisms towards his crew. “The week that we had you, you were so nice to every single human on the staff, that my whole crew would drop everything to work for you.” Cyrus responded, by saying that when this virus ends, and things can go back to normal, she’s going to “borrow” Fallon’s crew for her show.

The livestream didn’t go on for much longer, but for good reason. Later that same night, Cyrus was going to be featured on Fallon’s “Tonight Show: At Home Edition” of his NBC talk show.

Although Fallon’s show is incredible to see on screen, nothing beats seeing it live. I took my mother to see the show about a year ago, because she was a huge fan of him. He didn’t disappoint. He put all of his energy into the show, and he even gave my mother a hug at the end of the show. Fallon seems like an incredible man, with a genuine heart. So, I’m sure that it was hard for him to do a virtual show, instead of performing in front of a live studio audience.

However, he still gave his all during the “At Home Edition”.

During his show, Fallon performed a monologue, followed by his usual “thank you” note segment. However, he had two special guests helping him with the segment, and that was none other than his two little daughters.

One of them worked the audio, while the other swiped to the next “thank you” slide. It was the most adorable, wholesome thing to watch.

Fallon then interviewed Cyrus, and they talked about a range of topics, from the intimate Instagram live Bright Minded episodes, to why Cyrus decided to start Bright Minded in the first place.

According to Cyrus, she started it to connect, interact, and talk to people. She thought of the show as comforting and positive.

They also talked about throwback songs, and how during past concerts, Cyrus would have her fans text her song suggestions for her setlist.

Fallon also brought out the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress, Rachel Brosnahan, as well as musical artist, Lewis Capaldi.

The “Someone You Loved” singer performed his latest hit, “Before You Go”. That song is so emotional, and even if you’ve never experienced heartbreak before, it has you connecting so deeply with the song.

If you like Capaldi’s style, you can find his latest album, “Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent”, on Spotify, YouTube, iTunes, and Apple Music.

Fallon’s show ended with a beautiful show of New Yorkers clapping from their windows/balconies. The clapping symbolized their appreciation for all of the first responders and healthcare workers, fighting the frontlines to keep everyone safe.

Riverdale Star, Vanessa Morgan, Shares An Important COVID-19 Message With Fans on Instagram

Courtesy: The CW/Riverdale

Right now, people are going crazy. They’re emptying shelves full of toilet paper, food, and they’re washing their hands so much, that they most likely have cracked skin.

However, one thing that people are still unsure of are masks. When the virus first emerged in the US, many cleared shelves to wear masks. People assumed that if they wore masks and gloves, then they were automatically protected from the virus.

The WHO (World Health Organization) made an official statement after seeing the panic, and stated that masks should only be worn by symptomatic, or confirmed cases. According to them, masks will not prevent the virus from entering a healthy person.

However, as of recently, the WHO (as well as the CDC) turned around and retracted that statement. Although they emphasized that masks should be prioritized for essential workers, they also announced that masks should be worn by the general public to decrease the spread of the virus, and that you can even make your own homemade masks. According to the WHO’s website, “Wearing a medical mask is one of the prevention measures that can limit the spread of certain respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.”

Yesterday, Riverdale actress, Vanessa Morgan, took to her Instagram story, to share a picture of her wearing a mask. She captioned it: “I’ve been wearing masks since January. People would debate me saying, ‘you know masks don’t do anything, right’… it’s common sense. Of course they protect you from a respiratory virus… Really funny how the WHO now says we need them when they see the virus is getting out of hand because they have been downplaying it.”

Morgan also followed that up with a second photo, in which she shares information about where she got her “hard shell N-95 mask”. She was also sure to state that after buying masks for her and her family, she donated some of those masks to healthcare workers at hospitals.

The O2 Curve masks are made by a Canadian company, called O2 Canada. Although on their website, company CEO, Peter Whitby, stated that, “we achieved filtration efficiency of 98.6% against PM2.5”, he was also blunt and honest with these hard facts.

“No mask is capable of protecting you 100% against any other dangerous substance or virus.  In particular, the Coronavirus is a new virus that is not yet fully understood.  We cannot and we expressly do not guarantee that our masks will protect you against the Coronavirus.”

The mask is, however, readily available for $69.00 USD, and while the company is Canadian based, it is able to ship to the US, China, and of course, Canada.

I would like to disclose, however, that Morgan made a small hiccup in her post about the mask. After reviewing the O2 Canada website, it’s confirmed that although their masks appear durable and well compacted, it is NOT certified as an N95 mask. According to a section, written by Whitby, the O2 Curve passed 2/3 of the mandated N95 tests.

If you’d like to purchase a mask, you can head over to: https://www.o2canada.com

Please buy at your own discretion, and be sure to check the WHO website on how to properly disinfect the mask in between uses.

Former Disney Stars, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, Reunite For The Bright Minded Finale

Courtesy: Getty Images

Yesterday, Miley Cyrus featured Elton John, Kerry Washington, and Jimmy Fallon on the “Bright Minded” finale. However, the most requested and most anticipated guest was Selena Gomez. Cyrus admitted that Gomez messaged her privately on Instagram, gushing about her love for “Bright Minded”. That’s when they decided to reconnect on the livestream.

Cyrus stated that she and Gomez rarely spoke, since their time together on the Disney Channel. If you’re unfamiliar with how they met, Miley Cyrus played the infamous Miley Stewart on the 2006 show, Hannah Montana. Gomez played the role of Mikayla Skeech — Stewart’s arch nemesis on the show.

Gomez talked a bit about her struggles with anxiety and depression, and she said that dialectal behavioral therapy helped her a lot, as well as writing. According to Pysch Central, DBT allows one to “properly identify and label emotions, increase positive emotional events, increase mindfulness, and take opposite action.”

The topic then switched to the COVID-19 situation. Cyrus admitted that she feared for her grandmother, because she’s currently in a nursing home. “I haven’t seen my mom in three weeks, because she goes to visit my grandma every day, and I didn’t want to freak her out, but I wanted to make sure that she was taking care of herself.” Miley and her siblings have been social distancing from even their own mother, because of how dangerous this virus is. Although Cyrus misses her mother, she’s doing the right thing by taking the proper precautions to keep her grandmother safe.

Gomez mentioned that once this pandemic is over, she hopes for more kindness. “This is a test for how we’re going to treat each other. Even me, just walking my dog down the street — when people walk by and we switch to the other side, they’re saying hi, and they’re being kind. Like Elton said earlier, this can be a time to be gentle with ourselves, and to take a break from the noise, and even social media. Just being outside and being gentle — I think that’s really important.”

When asked about resources and thoughts, in regards to how mental health may affect people during this dark time, Gomez stated that communication is key. “communicating with women that I respect. Talking through what you’re feeling is extremely helpful.” She then explained that crying is sometimes the best release. It’s how she gets the clarity that she needs to recompose and move forward.

Miley asked Gomez for advice on how to talk about mental health, and that’s when she admitted that after being in a mental hospital for so long, she found out that she was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. “I’m from Texas, and it’s not known to talk about mental health.”

The economy as a whole are being hit hard, financially, because of COVID-19, and Gomez admitted that she’s currently donating to hospitals, music organizations, and other industries that are in dire need of help.

The livestream ended with the two talking about moments/memories that brighten up their lives when they’re in a dark place, and Gomez admitted that the happiest moment of her life was when her sister, Gracie Teefey, was born.

Cyrus joked that in a few years, the older sister admiration will change. She then exposed singer and younger sister, Noah Cyrus (20), for turning away and acting like she doesn’t exist when they run into each other during a night out at a club, or a venue. Hopefully, Noah will respond to this humorous comment. If she does, stay tuned for the update!

The chemistry between Gomez and Cyrus is so sweet and genuine. Of course, they’re not the same Disney stars that they were 10 years ago. However, in my opinion, they’re better. They’re raw, real, and they’re not afraid to stand up for what they believe in. They advocate for mental health, positivity, love and kindness, and that’s inspiring to so many of their fans.

If you missed the livestream, and would like to see it in full, keep up with Miley Cyrus on Instagram. Cyrus has been posting the full episodes on her timeline, the day after it premieres.

An Interview With Up And Coming Hip-Hop Artist, Jay Voss:

Courtesy: Instagram

With everything that’s currently going on in the world, music will always be the universal language of healing. If you’re reading this, and you’re searching for new music to listen to, then look no further.

Meet Jay Voss — a 17 year-old up and coming hip hop artist, based in Miami, Florida.

Voss currently has 7 songs uploaded on Spotify, and over 26,000 monthly listeners. I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Voss about his latest release: “They Gonna Follow”.

For people who may just be hearing your name for the first time, why do you think they should listen to “They Gonna Follow”?

I feel like it gives listeners a good idea of who I really am, and it says pretty much everything about how I am feeling in my current situation of entering into the rap game..

I really love that the lyrics tell a story so personal to you. Can you tell us the backstory behind the creative process?

Ever since I started making music, I always wanted to create a song, describing what my emotions were. I started free styling break up lines, as finding my flow; not really taking it too seriously. My first song that I ever dropped was “Forget Her”. It started getting a lot of streams, and playing at a bunch of my highschool parties. I was shocked.  Back in Sept. 2019, I had the chance to go work with some big producers in LA. 16 years old, and flying to LA for the first time ever had me feeling incredible. I linked up with one of my producers (Onassis) up in Paramount studios, and we were just vibing. He was cooking up some beats from scratch, while I laid down some ideas. I started to feel like I had accomplished so much, and proved so many people wrong. That’s when it was the right time to talk about it in a song, and from there I got it all down in about 30 minutes. The energy and the vibe were just insane that night, and I think that played a huge role. We made like 5 songs that night, and in making them, “They Gonna Follow” was one of those.

How involved were you in the post-production process of the song?

I was very involved. However, when it comes to the post production process of a song, it’s not a 1 man show. My manager, Luieville, is a picky maniac when it comes to quality… Hahah, but that a huge blessing for me, because I never knew my music could sound like that. After mixing the song and vocals, my manager brought in Chris Gehringer —known for his work with Drake, & Rhianna —  to master our song. So, I absolutely love the quality that we are delivering to the fans… That’s super important to all of us.
We went back and fourth with our engineer, and I think we mixed the vocals about 5 or 6 times, before deciding on the final versions. After all of the feedback, we really feel like people are gonna appreciate how big the song vocal and .wav quality sounds.

What was the most challenging part about creating “They Gonna Follow”?

The most challenging part of creating “They Gonna Follow” was definitely the pressure that I put on myself. I felt like I had so many people depending on me, and I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time. Working with a producer who has been making music for rappers that I look up to, being in the world famous Paramount Studios, and having Swae Lee in the room next door to mine was crazy! It was my first time ever doing something like this, which probably explains why I felt like that. Anyways, I was able to turn that into positive energy, and not only meet my expectations, but I also think I went above and beyond them. Oh, and the jet lag, coming from Miami and being in Los Angeles for the first time was weird. I never expected that, or knew it existed.

Are there any upcoming projects in the works? If so, what we can expect to see from you in the near future?

Yeah. Definitely a lot of new music to look forward to from me this year. We’re sitting on about 28 incredible songs, where I collaborated with some of the world’s biggest producers. Omg, 3 of those songs that I’m dying for the world to hear were collaborations with Jovan Dawkins and Shampoo Press & Curl — Bruno Mars production team. They blessed me with bangers, that I think could be chart-topping singles. Also, on the production, I have Ricky Luna from Las Vegas. Luna produced major movie placements, and we worked on a song for the Fast n Furious franchise, that I’m also super excited about. I love the studio. I really be spending more time at the studio, then in my own house. Making new music is definitely not a problem for me. I work pretty quickly and consistently. So, like I said before, a lot of new music will be dropping.

What advice would you give to young, aspiring artists, trying to make it in the hip hop industry?

To the young, I mean I’m only 16, and just coming into the game… But, from what Ive learned so far, I would say…

Number One: Always be yourself. Don’t care about what anyone else thinks about you, and don’t let anyone bring you down. It’s always important that you are happy with yourself, before anything else.

Two: Surround yourself with a great team… My manger and I have a great business structure, but also a great friendship. He’s been in the industry for years, and is known for working with major celebrities. Yet, while he has the plugs and connections, he always gives me the truth about learning to be patient, and that timing is key.

Three: I would say make use of your time… When I hit the studio, I usually leave with like 4 or 5 songs, because I never know when I’m gonna be in the same room again with those major producers. So, I definitely take full advantage of that moment.

You can keep up with Jay’s future projects by following him on Instagram (@jayyvoss), and by following his music on Spotify.

A Review of Netflix’s Newest Original Series: Tiger King

Courtesy: Netflix

Within recent weeks, Tiger King has been #1 on the Netflix trending page, and people are obsessed. I wanted to see what all of the hype was about, so naturally, I started watching. There are a total of 7 episodes, and the first episode starts off with an Investigation Discovery sort of theme

We’re introduced to Joe Exotic (real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage) — former owner of Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Within the first two minutes, the audience learns that Exotic was accused of hiring someone to murder Carole Baskin — owner of The Big Cat Rescue. If found guilty, he could face up to 80 years in prison.

Courtesy: WikiCelebs

It helped Netflix that Exotic felt the need to film every part of his day. So, running out of footage was never a problem.

I really liked how it brought us on his journey, and it allowed the viewers to see things from an outside, unbiased perspective. Yet, it also immersed the audience into what Exotic’s mindset was throughout all of this.

If clips of animal cruelty makes you sick to your stomach, then this is definitely not the show for you (I could barely handle it at times). Former Hannah Montana star, Emily Osment, took to her Instagram story yesterday, to post that within five minutes of watching the first episode, she broke into tears. “It’s just not the show for me”, she explained, after mentioning how exhausted one caged snow leopard appeared to be.

What I really enjoyed about this was that each episode gets to the point fairly quickly. It doesn’t drag on and leave things out, which is most likely why each episode is 40 minutes long. Within the first few minutes, we learned why Exotic began his feud with Baskin. He found out about Baskin when she released a newspaper article, claiming that Exotic was using his tigers for “financial gain”, and that he was mistreating the poor creatures by confining them to cages.

I didn’t think I was going to sympathize with this man at all throughout the show, but halfway through the first episode, I found myself feeling sorry for the “Tiger King”. He explained his struggle with his sexuality, and his suicide attempt, and it was almost hard to hear about that.

However, the empathetic feeling didn’t last long, because in the episodes to follow, we learned much more about Exotic; cramping Tiger cubs into a semi-truck for long periods at a time, abusing animals with no remorse, and having a murder mindset towards getting revenge on Baskin.

“For Carole, and all of her friends that are watching out there… Before you bring me down, it is my belief that you will stop breathing.” This is a direct threat that Exotic said on his television show, and just hearing that made my skin turn pale. To see how dark someone can get, and how vicious this turned over his own mistakes… It’s something right out of a horror film.

Clips of Joe Exotic threatening Baskin’s life starts at timestamp 4:56.

Although I won’t go into how each episode made me feel, the final episode is well worth mentioning.

There were a lot of twists and turns — the main one being that Carole may have been a suspect in her husband’s mysterious disappearance/death. However, there is no confirmation of that. So, it remains a prominent theory.

It was finally revealed in the finale, that Joe Exotic is now facing 22 years in federal prison.

Courtesy: Santa Rosa County Jail

Exotic was convicted on 20+ charges. 5 charges are for murdering five of his tigers, 2 charges are for the hire-for-murder scheme, and the rest are for endangering the welfare of wild animals.

Netflix ended the series by providing an important fact: 5,000-10,000 tigers currently live in captivity, across the United States.

Courtesy: Monica Ring

The amount of research, editing, and hours of filming that went into this series is truly admirable. My final thoughts on it are that although there are a lot of graphic images and animal abuse content, the show is crafted in a way, where it’s really hard to look away. Each episode gets more and more addicting, and it makes you realize that you never really know what’s going on behind the scenes in a zoo.

Although Tiger King was difficult to watch at times, due to the surplus of animal cruelty, I hope that people become more aware of this, and donate their money to wildlife conservations, instead of zoos that trap wild animals into small, confined cages.

At one point, Exotic mentioned that he felt like he was “trapped in a cage” when he was in prison, and I’m not ashamed to say that I clapped during when he said that. Exotic murdered innocent animals, and getting a lengthy prison sentence ensures that animal abusers are no longer getting away, scott free.

As for Carole Baskin, there is currently no evidence to convict her of murdering her late husband. However, be sure to check back here for any updates, in case new information surfaces.

Tiger King is currently ranked number one on the Netflix trending page, and rightfully so.

Peter Weber Is Social Distancing With Kelley Flanagan

Courtesy: ABC/The Bachelor

You may have seen the pictures that TMZ and Reality Steve posted last week. However, if you haven’t, here’s a refresher:

Courtesy: TMZ

Season 24 Bachelor, Peter Weber, was photographed in Chicago, with former contestant, Kelley Flanagan. He held her over his shoulder as he ran back and forth near a pier.

Flanagan is currently followed by Weber’s entire family on social media, and fans were speculating as to whether or not the two were an official item.

Early this morning, Weber confirmed that he and Flanagan were, indeed, in quarantine together, when he posted a video on his main Instagram timeline. The video showed Weber sitting on a couch, eating a cookie and reading hate comments on his latest TikTok video.

Weber recently made a TikTok account, and he only has two videos thus far. One video is the “flip the switch” challenge, and the other is a humorous dance to Roddy Ricch’s infamous song, “The Box.”

Although Weber turned his Instagram comments off, it didn’t take long for fans to repost screenshots of the video onto their own Instagram timeline. One fan noticed that the apartment in the background looked very familiar, and it was confirmed when Weber decided to tag Flanagan in the video.

Yesterday, the Instagram account “Bachelornation.Scoop” posted a TikTok of Weber and friends doing an infamous TikTok dance. It’s unknown who’s TikTok account the video was originally posted to, but if you watch until the very end of the clip, you’ll see that Flanagan is the last person to do the dance.

Considering the two have been spending quite a bit of time together, playing card games, doing TikTok dances, and hanging out in Flanagan’s apartment alone, could it be a “quarantine and chill” type of situation? Or, do you think that it’s just a really close friendship that the two have?

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but when it happens, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Until then, stay inside, take lots of vitamins, and happy TikTok-ing.

Daisy Keech Is Suing These Hype House Co-Founders

Courtesy: Instagram

If you don’t know who Daisy Keech is, she is one of the co-founders of the infamous TikTok Hype House. While a lot of people may accredit the title of “co-founder” with Chase Hudson (Lil Huddy), or former Team 10 member, Thomas Petrou, Keech had a lot more involvement than one may think.

Several days ago, Keech posted a video on YouTube, titled, “Truth about the Hype House”. In the 22 minute long video, she explained that she collaborated with Petrou and Hudson to create a “content house”. They all put down money for the downpayment on the house. Hudson and Keech each put down $18,000, and Petrou was only able to put down $5,000.

That’s when they started receiving a lot of press attention. One of the first outlets to interview them was The New York Times. That’s when things took a turn. Keech was 20 years old at the time, and while Petrou was already known, and Hudson had a manager to push for him to speak, Keech got wiped under the rug.

“I was 20 years old, and it was my first interview, so it was intimidating. I had no idea to speak up and to say that I was a co-founder. I kind of already assumed that Thomas and Chase would have given the other co-founders — Not just myself — credit… During the New York Times interview, Thomas and Chase completely took over.”

She then admits that she regrets not speaking up and setting an example for other female business women in her position.

Keech then admitted that she confronted Petrou about the situation, after not mentioning her or the other co-founders in future interviews that Keech was unable to attend.

Then, later on, Keech received a call from her lawyer, who reiterated the situation, and how it was important for Keech to speak up and declare herself a cofounder.

As time passed, Keech confronted Petrou again, and this time, Petrou responded by removing access for Keech to see important emails. “We had no idea what brand deals were coming, and whether they were paid or not. He claimed that the Hype House has made no money. Yet, he’s bragging about the $8,000 cartier bracelet that he bought, a $10,000 cat. He’s talking about buying a new Tesla.”

Keech also mentioned that he “loves to tell people what to do, and when to do it. He loves to have power.” Back in February, YouTuber, FaZe Rug, uploaded a video where he went to the Hype House to make TikToks with some of the most popular people on the app.

One of the people that Rug collaborated with was none other than Hype House member, Dixie D’amelio. Before filming the TikTok, D’amelio admitted that she hadn’t filmed a TikTok in a week, and Petrou wouldn’t let her eat until she finally made one.

The Dixie D’amelio clip starts at timestamp 11:00.

Due to getting a lot of hate from fans, Petrou uploaded a TikTok of his own, re-enacting the situation. Dixie featured in it, and they hinted that the whole thing was just a joke. However, whether or not it’s true is still unknown.

Keech then proceeded to mention how Petrou made sexist comments about her behind her back, and continued to manipulate her and lie to her about the things that he was doing. He allegedly belittled her, and made her feel as though she wasn’t an intelligent business woman.

Petrou also decided to host a major music video production at the house, without consulting Keech, the landlord, or any of the other Hype House founders. Keech said that this could have ended badly for her, since they didn’t receive permission to host a huge production in the house, and her name is on the lease.

After confronting him a few more times, Keech was soon kicked out of the Hype House, and Petrou forced the other house members to unfollow her on social media. This was all unbeknownst to Keech, and according to her, people in the Hype House are “afraid of Petrou”, because if they speak up, he could make the decision to kick them out in a heartbeat.

Keech ended the video by sharing some tips for her followers: “Listen to red flags… When it comes down to business, dial down your percentage in the company, before you contribute your assets.”

She thanked Petrou for hurting her in the way that he did, because this situation pushed her to stand up for herself, and to be a role model for her younger fans.

Fans in the comments were all so supportive of Keech, and what she had to say. One fan, by the name of Kristina Lenkowsky, stated that, “When my kids ask what a strong woman is- I will be showing them this video.”

According to an article by Forbes, Keech is now planning to sue Chase Hudson, and Thomas Petrou.

Recently, rumors have surfaced about Chase Hudson (aka Lil Huddy) cheating on Charli D’Amelio. Both TikTok stars met in October of 2019, and their relationship flourished from there.

In February, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Hudson admitted that although he and D’Amelio were exclusive and very into one another, they were trying to take things “as slow as humanly possible”, before putting a label on their relationship.

Within the past few weeks, since California went into a state of emergency over the COVID-19 virus, D’Amelio went back home to Connecticut, to quarantine with her sister Dixie, as well as their parents.

While she was away from the Hype House, rumors started circulating that Hudson sent a text to Nessa Barrett, and invited her to the Hype House for some alone time.

Barrett is currently dating Josh Richards — member of The Sway House (the Hype House’s rival). Rather than responding back to the text, Barrett informed her boyfriend of the situation, and things got ugly. While the official texts have not been released, Richards collaborated with YouTuber/Sway House member, Bryce Hall, to create a diss track towards LilHuddy.

The track is called, “Still Softish”, and currently has over 7 million views. Richards confirmed that the situation did, in fact, happen, and they proceeded to say that Hudson never really loved D’amelio, because he was too busy talking to other girls.

A few days ago, Richards uploaded a vlog on YouTube, and in the video, he can be seen confronting Hudson. He looks nervous, and he’s wearing a sweatshirt with the hood over his head. However, Richards tries to play it cool, and admits later on that he decided to drop the drama.

That didn’t seem to stop fans from targeting Hudson, and wondering about what D’Amelio thinks about the situation.

Although she hasn’t directly said anything, relating to the breakup, D’Amelio was caught retweeting/favoriting a series of heartbreak tweets.

Some of the many heartbreak-related tweets that Charli favorited.

It all started when her mother, Heidi D’Amelio, took to Twitter to post this statement: “Here for the one that got hurt while y’all were focused on getting revenge on each other”. Charli retweeted that, and many fans assumed that she was talking about the diss track situation.

Hopefully, Charli is able to get her mind off of the current situation, and is focusing on spending time with her family in Connecticut. Maybe in the near future, she’ll make a direct statement about the breakup. However, that’s solely her choice.

We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

Tana Mongeau Faces Backlash For Her Recent MTV Episodes

Tana Mongeau, 21, is a popular YouTuber, best known for her storytime videos and controversies. Between getting cheated on by former boyfriend, Brad Sousa, marrying/divorcing ex-husband, Jake Paul, and facing many scandals, Mongeau has gone through quite a year.

Mongeau’s popularity reached an all time high in 2019. So much so, that MTV decided to give Mongeau her own show. The first season was called: Tana Turns 21, and was meant to follow her journey towards the day that she finally becomes legal.

Right now, season two is airing on MTV’s YouTube channel. However, since her 21st birthday has already passed, the show is now called: Tana Mongeau.

Two weeks ago, episode four aired, and it landed Mongeau in some hot water with her fans. The episode followed the YouTuber, as she went to the doctor for an ongoing cough that she had. Her manager, Jordan Worona, wanted to ensure her health and well being. So, although reluctant, she agreed to get checked.

Mongeau went to a lung specialist, and fans were quick to comment about the way she treated the medical professionals. Though, she stated in the car with Worona that she had PTSD from visiting doctors, due to her childhood, people saw that as an excuse.

While the nurse was taking her blood pressure, Mongeau ripped the velcro off of her arm, looked at the nurse, and said, “Can you take this off of me? Oh my god. I can’t do this. My arm literally hurts so bad”.

“The way she treated the nurse who was simply trying to take her blood pressure was disgusting”, one user commented.

After the doctor listened to her lungs, he diagnosed Mongeau with asthma. She was prescribed an inhaler, but during the car ride back home, admitted to Worona that she wasn’t going to use it. “It’s not a big deal. Asmtha is better than Tuberculosis”, she stated.

Another viewer stated that Mongeau should be taking her diagnosis seriously — especially since the COVID-19 virus attacks the respiratory system.

While that episode received a lot of negative backlash, the episode that aired last week (Tana and Jordan’s Biggest Fight Ever) received just as much hate.

In this episode, they got into a fight about Mongeau being two hours late to set, due to her oversleeping. Worona claimed that he was being yelled at by producers, and was made to look bad. Meanwhile, Mongeau claimed that she wasn’t feeling well, and after agreeing to push the call times back, he called her the next morning and yelled at her for being irresponsible.

This episode showed a lot of attitude and disrespect that Mongeau was throwing at her manager, and the comments certainly pointed that out.

Erica Bellile commented that, “Jordan should just quit. He’s not her dad… Girl grow up”.

After the most recent episode, Mongeau spoke out on Twitter, about the “careless” reputation that she’s getting, due to her show.

“All the things we all said (for 400 hours) about these topics didn’t make mtv’s cut. video coming soon explaining EVERYTHING so hopefully i can move on & use my platform to help the world rn instead of having to do this”, she tweeted.

She also tweeted about her best friend, Trevor Moran’s sobriety, caring about mental health and recovery, and she stated that her intention was never to discredit asthma.

Mongeau has a lot of explaining to do, but hopefully her upcoming video will answer all of the fan questions/concerns.

Be sure to stay tuned for when the video drops!
